Been in town for just under two weeks and mellow fellow has been my go to dining for more than half my meals this trip.
The environment and service is amazing but, more importantly, the food is incredible.
Just finished the burger of the month.
The Winnie is an awesome favorable treat and a well deserved tribute to Jamaican cuisine that I will be revisiting...
This monthly special is a must for those who love marinated mahi-mahi, slaw, garlic aioli, yardie boy jerk and pineapple salsa... Simply heaven.
Ask about the inspiration behind this culinary delight. Hats off to the chef and the mellow fellow crew.
I heard a rumor that this may be the last month for mellow fellow at it's current location and pray that's not true..
Thanks MF for the amazing food, friendly environment and making me feel at home.
Simply amazing.

Came by today Saturday 8-2-25 at 12:30pm and they were definitely closed. If you aren't open then make that clear on Google Maps.
Have been there a few times before and Aces ballgame to have a drink and I totally recommend this place. The staff is great the food is very good and the atmosphere is wonderful.

Beer selection is phenomenal. Atmosphere looks like it would be great on game night, but we came at noon on a Saturday.
Probably the third worst fish and chips I've ever tasted, might have been the choice of Mahi Mahi. Fries tasted previously frozen. Fish was extra fishy. Great crunch.
Mushrooms didn't have much flavor other than the sauce on the outside.
Best part was the pretzel. I normally would say that Pretzels should be chewy. This fried pretzel has a crunchy exterior and a slightly soggy interior, but lots of dipping options. The dips saved this one and if you let the pretzel cool off it does taste levels better.
The staff was great, food was fast, and hot.
Could have had a five star rating had it been for a better implementation of fish and chips, and a better pretzels. Outside of the box, isn't always better.

I get wings anytime I go out. Mellow Fellows has the best and the biggeat wing on a regular basis that I have seen. Huge, meaty, juicy, tender, crispy and the flavor is phenomonal.
If you are in Reno, you need to get these wings and see for yourself. AMAZING!!!
They also make an incredible Spicy Bloody Mary. I prefer Gin, and make it a double..
Try it sometime. It's awesome
The staff are all incredible folks. Friendly, conversive, and they CARE!!

We love this place!
This place was excellent. We stopped in for a late lunch. Cubano and Mahi Mahi Fish n Chips were absolutely delicious. Service was good. Will be going back the next time we are Reno.
Great food and it was 50 feet from my hotel. Win win
Hostess was really friendly always checked up on me and the food was delicious left a happy camper
I ordered the chicken avocado melt which is described as Monterey Jack crusted brioche with grilled chicken, cheddar, ranch, bacon, avocado, lettuce, and tomato. Description and photo of what I expected is pictured in the first two images. The third image is what I got minus the lettuce because they don’t use lettuce, they use a spring mix so I had to pick it off. The cheese was burned and the chicken overcooked and barely covered the bread. I was told that if I hadn’t taken stuff off, it would look better. There was some confusion over the bread because I said I didn’t want cheese on the outside of the bun and I had this image of them pouring melted cheese over the top of my sandwich and said no. They also said the sandwich didn’t come with a brioche bun even though that’s in the description. They did offer to redo it but don’t know what they could have done to make it better.
