Found this Mexican restaurant by accident. Needed to get gas, and grab a bite to eat before traveling back to my city. Boy was I surprised by the food. I think this shredded beef burrito was one of the best I have ever had. Everything about the burrito was top tier! The sauce what they call enchilada style really set off the plate! Without a doubt I will make a stop here everytime I'm in Reno!!!
We've dined at Micasa and later, Micasa Too, since the mid-seventies, and it has always been more than satisfying. The purists will argue that the meals are not authentic Mexican. I could care less because the meals are always delicious, and consistently so. Micasa Too will always be our best choice
So much potential for better food, but chose the Americanized their dishes, and bland the palette. No cilantro, onions or fresh tomatoes, not a jalapeño in sight! Salsa seems from a jar.
