I’ve hosted multiple events with 35+ guests and Miguel's Mexican Food has come through clutch every single time. My family and I have also been coming here for 35 years, and they have been consistently amazing the entire time which honestly says everything about their quality and service.
The food is always fresh, packed with flavor, and disappears so fast I never even get a chance to take pictures because everyone goes straight for seconds. Our crowds especially love the chicken enchiladas and their chicken dishes always a huge hit.
Beyond the food, the service and hospitality are what really set them apart. Huge shoutout to Elmer and Ryan for always making you feel at home and treating every order with care and pride.
If you’re looking for reliable catering or just incredible Mexican food in Reno, this is absolutely a spot you can trust. Truly grateful for everything you guys do for the community and for helping make our events successful every time.

Miguel's use to be a nice restaurant. After Miguel died, it has gone downhill at this location. The servers used to be nice and professional. Not any longer. They used to serve Sopapillas with takeout orders.

I still like the Onion Enchiladas. The prices have gone up. It is not worth paying a higher price when the servers are rude or dismissive. The atmosphere is not as it used to be. It is sad when a business changes this drastically after the owner dies.

TERRIBLE PLACE!!!! my lady and I went there..........omg WORST PLACE EVER, --- first of all, our waiter doesnt bring us water or guacamole, I had to flag down a bus boy to get us water and guacamole, finally we order our food, we waited almost 30 minutes and they got the order wrong -- also I asked for soda pop and they brought me juice --- at the end I complained to the manager and he didnt even care. almost 70 bucks for dinner for 2. RIP OFF, NEVER AGAIN!!!

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food degraded and got more expensive. Thank you so much for all the good food in the past, I'll be moving on and in need of a Mexican that still make hone made chips..please comment if you know a place. These taste like they are bought from Costco . Sad to see them go low quality!

Excellent Meal Before the Flight!
On our way to the airport, my family and I decided to stop for dinner at Miguel’s after finding it through a quick search on Maps. The high ratings caught our attention, and it did not disappoint. Parking was simple, there was no wait, and the service was warm and efficient. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed a wonderful meal together with good conversation. Prices were very reasonable as well. A great stop all around!
