Haven't been to a Mimi's Cafe in a long while, so I decided to try this one for a weekend breakfast. It was ok. The outside of the restaurant had a "run-down" feel to it, with cracked and damaged walls around the entryway and clearly unused outside furniture. The service was excellent, and our waitress was super friendly, but the food itself was just okay. Very bland, it felt a bit like the quality you might expect from an average hotel buffet. Would we visit...

Our server David as amazing! So helpful and made sure our order was correct and he had such a wonderful attitude. I always get the Brioche French Toast and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the Short Rib Benedict. He said it was good. I have to stress the service was wonderful. It's customer service David provided that will keep us loyal to Mimi's.

I made reservations for Mother's Day a month in advance. I showed up a few minutes early and it was packed. When I checked in, the hostess told me it didn't matter I made reservations and that it would be an hour then added me to the end of the walk-in list. I asked her why they even offer reservations if they're not going to honor them and she said it was a busy day... yes, I know, THAT IS WHY I MADE A RESERVATION. My mom had to work and I only had a babysitter...
