Great decorated sugar cookies, the cupcakes are nice and moist but the buttercream is very sweet other than that it’s really good and my pups loved their pup cakes

I have been ordering from Sugar Pie Reno for years and raving about them at every party, pot luck, and famers market outing. I love having reasons year round to come back to the site and see what new seasonal items were added. The flavors are always creative, the pies always baked perfectly, and above all they are always delicious. I think I just found my absolute favorite, the milk and cookies pie is creamy yet light yet complex. Up until now apple was my favorite but be warned, one apple pie from Sugar Pie and you'll never want to eat a grocery store apple pie again!
Mix Bakeshop made 40 mini pies for my wedding in multiple flavors and it didn’t break the bank. The staff was so accommodating, the pies were ready on-time, they went above and beyond and even opened the shop a little early for me for pick-up. There were zero hiccups on my big day and the guests raved about the pies. The Jumbleberry was my personal favorite but they were all delicious and my Maid of Honor said she was considering putting a lock on the fridge because her and her family couldn’t stop eating the leftover pies. Thank you so much for making my day special and putting up with my family stopping by to do pie recon. I HIGHLY recommend Mix Bakeshop for your special event, gift for a relative, or sweet tooth craving. Flakey crusts and it’s clear they bake with love. ❤️

I tried a few different cupcakes today. I was craving cake so I figured getting a couple cupcakes would be better than buying or making a whole cake. I tried the chocolate, funfetti and salted caramel. The chocolate frosting was decent. The cake was average. The funfetti cake and frosting honestly sucked. I haven't tried the salted caramel yet but I dont have high hopes. Especially at 4 bucks a pop, im seriously not impressed and will not be going back.
Im off to buy some cake mixes from the store now ✌🏻

I first went to Mix Bakeshop when I did their Halloween cookie decorating class and it was taught well and the cookies tasted so good. They are heavy on the almond flavoring, in a good way. I bought a mini pie and other cookies on my way out and it was all great. Their frosted sugar cookies taste very similar to their Royal icing sugar cookies, and both are delicious. There is more frosting on the frosted one so if you like less frosting, go for the royal iced one. Their cinnamon cookies are soft and very cinnamon-y and delicious. I tried their apple oatmeal cookie also and I wish I had grabbed more than one. Like the best oatmeal cookie ever plus some apple bits that made it taste like an apple crumble pie but in a cookie 🤤 Their prices are pretty reasonable too. The people working there are pleasant. I'm looking forward to my next visit there 😋

I tried to give this local bakery a chamce because i believe in "buy local" policies. My first experience started off pleasant. Staff was nice. I picked up my pies with ease. But thats where it ended. I foolishly did not check the pies i picked up for Thanksgiving. I ordered 3 pies and 1 quiché. So i spent a substantial amount of money there only to find out days later that i was given the wrong pie. When I called the first day they were reopened after the holidays, there was no "im so sorry," or "let me offer you a small discount on your next order." Instead the person on the other line said, "I dont know how that happened because we didnt have any left over pies." I decided to give them another chance and order cupcakes for new years. I was aware that some flavors could possibly not be available. Especially since i made the order 2.5 weeks in advance. However, I was not called to give me notice that sone of the flavors were not available. I also was not aware that they were going to charge EXTRA for certain flavors because there is no notice on their website of these charges. It wasnt much more, but that not the complaint. The complaint is that no one communicated with me that my order was goingnto be fullfilled and that a couple of the flavors were going to be an extra charge. In which i could have either chosen to keep the flavor of cupcakes or been fully aware i would be needing to pay the difference. I will be calling Nevada Weights and Measures because that scam of them pulling the "we need to charge you more" when i had already paid in full on their actual website needs to be fixed and they need to be fined for their immoral practices.

Not edible and disappointing since this was our first time ordering pies for the holidays since they sell out fast the last few years. Will just get pies from sprouts as they are always consistent.
