The restaurant offers decent flavors, but the prices are steep, making the cost-performance ratio less appealing.

Authentic Japanese owned sushi spot in Reno. If you are looking for fresh fish, properly made sushi rice, amazing rolls, try this place! We especially loved their premium toro with real wasabi.

Old soup bowl chipped at the edges - bacteria breeding spot. Sushi coolers in disarray -unappetizing.

Food was delicious. Really enjoyed the Mt Rose roll and the ramen. Also, I had leftover ramen and they packed it to go for me—- separated the broth and the noodles so the noodle doesn’t soak up all the broth and get extra soggy! Never experienced that before. What a special touch. Thank you!

Super quaint, small eatery. Not in a bad way, very quiet and comfortable. Our hostess was friendly and accommodating. Pay attention to the board on the wall. They list their lunch specials there. Miso Soup and Salad appetizer: came out fresh hot and cold respectively.Gyoza: Not pictured, best potsticker sauce I have ever tasted. Nigiri: Octopus was very tender and had the perfect flavor. Salmon was beautiful prepared....ask for extra lemon .Crunchy Shrimp Roll: beautifuly displayed and tasted extremely fresh.Yellowtail Roll: the fish was extremely fresh. I wouldn't have minded if it was cut into smaller pieces though.Miso Ramen: only thing missing was an egg. The pork belly was well cooked and the soup was well prepared in general. We will be back again.

This sushi spot in Reno is hands down the most aesthetically pleasing sushi dining experience I've encountered. From the moment you step in, the ambiance is a visual treat. The presentation and service here are top-notch, earning an easy A+ in my book. However, when it comes to the sushi itself, it's good but not the best I've ever had. While the flavors are enjoyable, and the ingredients are fresh, it didn't quite reach the pinnacle of sushi excellence that I've encountered in other places. That being said, if you're looking for a dining experience that's a feast for the eyes and appreciate impeccable service, this place is worth a visit. The artistic presentation and the attentive staff create an atmosphere that's truly memorable. While the sushi may not be the absolute best, the overall experience makes it a delightful choice for a special night out.

Delicious ramen, but the noodles were a little overcooked and mushy. Otherwise, great! The salmon nigiri was super good quality, just a little on the small side for the price. Service was good, and the space was cute. Simple, modern digs. Clean decor, not too loud.

My wife dragged me here. I am not a sushi person. Not at all.So to my surprise, ordering the Tonkatsu, it was very nice. Very tasty, just right. The staff was really friendly and quick.I am told it can be very busy, but it was just nice and quiet when we were there. If you are in the area, please give it a try.

My fiancé and I moved here a year ago, and have yet to find good sushi in Reno. This place was recommended to me by my nail lady, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was so calming, a very clean restaurant, not to mention some of the best sushi we have ever had. Our server, Andrew, was knowledgeable with recommendations, specials, and made us feel at home! BEST SUSHI IN RENO!

Went here on a whim looking for sushi. The atmosphere is calm, quiet and clean. The restaurant is small and was busy while I was there. I came to dine in but decided to get my order to go so others could dine in.I ordered the special tempura cod with curry and I loved it. I got a couple other menu items, all were great and when I left the server gave me some mochi for free.Be sure to make a reservation or place your order for pickup. The tables are suited for couples or groups of three or four.I look forward to trying more menu items and I recommend giving them a try.

I wish I could give them 10/5 stars. Truly, this is a wonderful hidden gem. We stopped in to try it for the first time and it lived up to the hype I've seen in every review here. Freshest fish I've had at any "sushi joint" but they have so much more. The atmosphere zips you away to another place. It's very calming and cleanly designed to be simple yet beautiful. Our order from will-definitely-order-again to not-our-faves:Hamachi jalapeño carpaccio-citrus was on point and the jalapeño added a texture but no spice. Wonderful! Hamachi hand roll - abundant amount of room temp yellowtail, cucumber and avocado. Wonderful! Gyoza - served all in one piece with a breaded skirt of crunchy texture. Fun to break up and eat.Veggie tempura - crispy, not heavy. Carrots still had their bite to them. Very light and well done. Edamame - standard but with black salt. Definitely more interesting to eat than what we steam at home. A staple. Tonkatsu ramen -mellow. Good, just not quite great. (We have a "favorite" ramen spot in town so we always have to compare)Service was excellent and we didn't feel rushed at all. The tables do fill up quickly and they had one reserved so call ahead if you're short on time, or go right at 4. They close for a break from 2-4pm.

Eaten here three time in the last couple weeks. Husband likes the potstickers and crunchy roll. I have been ordering sashimi, a tuna roll, yellowtail roll and salmon roll. All have been fresh and tasty. Rolls range in price from $11 on up. Our servers have been friendly and prompt. It's a tiny place. If you remember Bab Cafe in south Reno... this the same location but new establishment.
