Amazing Seafood & Great Service!

I had an incredible experience at Mr. Crab Seafood Boils in Reno! The food was absolutely delicious—super fresh seafood, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The Cajun flavors were spot on, and the butter garlic sauce was next level!

The service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, perfect for a casual night out or a special occasion.

If you’re a seafood lover, this place is a must-try! I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend!

Great food and service. Server made a mistake, run up king crab instead of our order for snow crab. Owner would not adjust the bill, adamant it was on us for not knowing the different. Cheap owner lost a costumer. Be aware.

It’s one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The servers are kind and the food is amazing

Kid-friendliness: They give kids coloring sheets and when they’re done they hang them up the wall

If you are going to be that ridiculously over priced, make up for it in another area. I would expect that the food would be phenomenal at these prices... Nope. Or maybe even traded with the portions being rather abundant... Nope. We were quite disappointed & left hungry :(

Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating to my anaphylactic food allergy!!

will never come back again. I got food poisoning. My food came out wrong and when I asked for a refund, they told me there’s nothing they can do. They’re rude and this is ridiculous. I will never be coming again. And the fact that I spent over $400 is ridiculous and they won’t even refund me my portion of the money. They are not even willing to work with me on anything.

Unless you’re really craving seafood boil I wouldn’t recommend coming here. The staff was very nice and accommodating despite it being a busy Saturday, but the food is just not worth it. I ordered a #4 combo for $65 and the price for the amount of seafood you get isn’t worth it. I got the lobster tails, the snow crab legs, and the mussels plus I added potatoes, corn, & sausage for another $10. The lobster tails were decent for the price but the snow crab was puny, the mussels were too fishy (which could mean they’re old), and for $10 there was only a few pieces of potato and corn. Aside from the small portions the flavors weren’t very good either. If you’re coming here to try and satisfy a boiling crab craving it pales in comparison unfortunately.

Very good seafood. Fries are nice and crunchy. Great garlic butter. Great service. Great "beachside" spot without the beach.

We were a party of four. We dined in. Our server was enthusiastic and helpful in the beginning. Then after we ordered, saw her periodically helping other tables and she refilled our tea one time. She was not the one to deliver our food or ask how it was. Several servers, including the hostess attended to any needs we needed. I still tipped her $30 but was apprehensive because she did not tend to us the entire time. I was raised in Louisiana. The food is subpar. The seasonings were close, but my food was drowning in the bag and was difficult to eat. The oysters were not good and the seasoning is a little funky. The shrimp was outstanding, but the crawfish were so small And not really worth ordering because of the size. If I had it to do again, I would have Chosen another protein in my bag. I asked for Tabasco for my husband’s clam chowder and they told me it would be an up charge of a dollar. I also asked for lemons And was once again was told that it would be an up charge. I thought that was a little strange, considering it’s specifically a seafood restaurant and lemons And hot sauce is a standard in any seafood restaurant I’ve ever been in! Sure, enough, when I receive the bill, it absolutely was on there. That alone would deter me from coming back because how ridiculous! I had to ask for drawn butter and the little hostess girl was the one I had to ask, and when she came back, she acted like that was uncommon for me to ask for drawn butter to go with my crab. They also did not offer any bread or salads And again charged me an up charge of $3.50 to swap out my fries for sweet potato fries. Up charge up charge up charge, Yikes! I would not recommend this restaurant as it is quite overpriced for what you get and I would just spend the same amount driving to the Bay Area to get real seafood! Plus, the fact that besides the shrimp everything tasted Pre-frozen. I will not ever go back here nor will I ever recommend it.

I was looking for clam chowder - but lobster bisque stole my eye. While delicious, it would have been nice to find a bit of lobster in it (I'm spoiled - a restaurant long ago had the best!). Could be a bisque is supposed to be purely liquid. Great service and a fun atmosphere, I will try the chowder next time!

Mr. Crab Seafood Boil in Reno, Nevada delivers an authentic seafood boil experience that’s both satisfying and well worth the visit. The restaurant does a fantastic job capturing the rich, bold flavors you’d expect from a classic boil, serving up generous portions that leave you feeling full and happy. Their shrimp and crab are standouts—perfectly seasoned, tender, and fresh, with just the right amount of spice to enhance the natural flavors of the seafood.

Alongside the seafood, the sausage, corn, and eggs complement the boil wonderfully. The sausage adds a smoky, savory depth, while the corn soaks up the seasoning well, offering a sweet contrast. The addition of eggs is a unique and hearty touch, rounding out the meal with extra texture and flavor.

Service is prompt and friendly, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, making it an excellent spot for families, groups, or anyone craving an indulgent seafood feast. If you’re in Reno and looking for an authentic boil that doesn’t skimp on portions or flavor, Mr. Crab Seafood Boil is a top choice. It’s a reliable go-to for seafood lovers and well worth a try for anyone new to the boil experience.
