Soup had no flavor. It was gross. So disappointed. Please don't bring your abuelita cause she's going to be upset.
Delicious food, hot and fresh!

First time at the new location with the addition of noodles to the menu. Had the curry and it was exceptional! Came back the next day for fried chicken and rice which was also exceptional. Curry puffs are great, mochi is also great. Owner is incredibly involved and will make you feel right at home.
I'm in Reno roughly once a year and I always make it a point to come here.

Okay, so I wanted to order from the Rice Box Kitchen, but it redirected me to Noodle Box Kitchen. Well, okay. I didn’t see Pad Thai that I really wanted on the menu, but I was open to other options.
I spent about $25 for rice with tofu, a mochi cupcake, and 6 pieces of tteok.
I was excited to try, but I ended up rather disappointed… it was ready on time, but they completely forgot my mochi cupcake which I was charged for (I had to hurry back home, I had no time to go back and ask).
Rice and tofu combo only had a few slices of cucumber as a side, and I could understand that, but tofu was rather dry and lacking flavor. I like tofu, but I don’t cook it myself because I cannot prep it well. For this reason, I go to restaurants… but this was underwhelming. Especially with so many pieces! The rice was good though, I liked the seasonings and overall flavor. It was the best part of the meal!
I also liked the flavor of tteok rice cakes, but they were very dry on the outside. I think they should be chewy with a light hint of crispness on the outside maybe. But it felt like they were encased in a hard, cracked shell. My Korean friends suggested that maybe they were cooked too fast before fully defrosting? I do not know. I enjoyed them more than tofu, but unless it gets cooked differently next time, I don’t think it’s worth it… :(
The employee who handed me my order was very polite and kind though!
EDIT:
I am sorry, I actually was looking for noodle options, not necessarily Pad Thai. And I saw them on DoorDash, but then I chose to go to the business’ website to order directly, and suddenly there was only 1 noodle option I think. The lack of pad thai did not affect my rating though, I should have worded it better. But I was a little confused by different takeout menus and being taken to a different location online.
I also need to say that I appreciate you reaching out. I am going to change my rating to 4 stars, and I will try something else next time I go for a more balanced perspective!

I went to hot pot here as I have many times before. The staff is always so nice and the hot pot is delicious!! It is all you can eat for 90 minutes, but we never last the full 90. I highly recommend this place!

I went on a Sunday midday and was told only dim sum was being served. This was a small surprise, but I thought I'd try it anyway. It is $6 for all dim sums with portions varying from 2 to 4 per order. There was also a sesame udon dish for $8.We ordered a few things, but none were remarkable and the udon was borderline bad (soggy and strange sesame dressing-type sauce). Especially at that price point, it didn't feel worth it at all - the udon in particular. Frozen then overcooked noodles and a strange sauce were what it tasted like. For a restaurant with the name NoodleBox, I guess I expected more. The atmosphere was also strange and hard to put a finger on. Flowery tablecloths with Latin music in a Thai(?) restaurant.I hate to rate it this low, but the experience was far below average.
