Me and my husband went right after the lunch special ended and it was the perfect time to go. Not too busy or crowded and the space is cool tone but relaxing.
I've been here before but for the Chinese food side and never the sushi side which is very intriguing. I love their Chinese food and was not surprised when I tried their sushi.
The staff are kind and quick to attend you when ordering. They also do a great job of following up on drinks and anything else you may need while you're eating/waiting.
They did fail to bring some of the appetizers on our order, but the food tasted so great. We were OK with it. My husband and I loved every single roll that we tried.
We did not finish all our sushi but we definitely enjoyed every bite. 10/10 highly recommend this place. It's located in the Moana shopping center near Raley's.

Above par service! Very attentive with us and I observed other guest interactions and everyone was smiling as well as taken care of as promptly as we were. Facility was clean and well taken care of. Atmosphere was comfortable. Food was AMAZING!!!! Very fresh tasting and the flavors hit the palate perfectly. Highly recommend 👌

Food was ok. Pot stickers were undercooked.Very doughy. The lady behind the counter that was making the rolls kept coughing A LOT and not covering her mouth at all. She was literally coughing over food that was served. They were very unwelcoming. There were times when we would look up, and they were looking at our table with the rudest look. Definitely will not be returning at all. We had a 1 year old with us and they did not seem to like that either. I’m not sure how they have 4.6 rating. There was also a small piece of hair in our order

Our new favorite sushi spot! The menu has an impressive variety, the fish was exceptionally fresh, and our server was incredibly friendly, they really made the experience even better. Prices were surprisingly reasonable (no small loan required), and we genuinely loved every dish we ordered. We can’t wait to come back.

I'm glad I decided to return since being treated to a sushi dinner date here recently. The servers are great here and on the Chinese food side as well. I like the rolls offered on their dinner menu. The sushi chefs(guys) are hit or miss. For instance I'll order a roll as a hand roll and will come out a long roll. It's happened everytime or they'll serve us someone else's platter. So I keep track of what I order and ask what things are as they come out. I like having the option to have Chinese at the sushi half or vice versa. Bar or table seating like other sushi bars and tables are cleared off immediately. It's a plus that their restroom is clean.

Can't say enough about the service... My favorite all you can eat in Reno, And I'm a local. If you're going to do all, you can eat in Reno come here and get a tundra roll or a Mango Island role. Mango sauce is really good. Red snapper which I don't usually get was quite supple. Big piece - reminded me when I was in Japan. All you can drink sake Tuesday through Thursday, couldn't drink too much but added to the value. Thank you guys! we'll be coming back

The quality of the AYCE Sushi places in Reno is very similar probably because the fish is from the same source. O'A is no exception.
It's a relatively small, simple and clean dining room with maybe 8-10 bar seats. Nothing fancy. Service is good and friendly and prices are in line with most other places but a bit better value due to their AYCE punch card which gives a free one every 10 effectively giving you 10% off. Beer is included on Mondays and Sake Tue-Thur.
Selection is standard AYCE. Sushi rice is a bit over seasoned (pretty sweet.) Fish to rice ratio on the nigiri is average.
Roll selection is decent but strangely about 1 out of 4 rolls have cream cheese. Like most all other places, most of the rolls are largely variations incorporating fake crab (which is made of Pollock fish) with mayo and/or teriyaki (eel) sauce on top satisfying that American palate that craves salt+sugar+fat and/or is otherwise squeamish of eating large pieces of raw fish as found on the nigiri sushi. While there are a few rolls without fake crab, you won't find some common traditional Japanese sushi rolls like the Negihama (yellowtail and green onion) or the Salmon Skin roll. The rolls are pretty large so you get full fast on rolls unless you share or opt for the hand roll form (which I prefer) or stick to mostly the Nigiri (as I do.)
If you don't need an upscale atmosphere, don't have a large group (over 6) and want a good value, this is a good choice.
