Have always looked forward to and enjoyed this restaurant. This visit the sushi was not as good as it has been in the past. It was also difficult to get our servers attention. Hoping on our next visit the excellent sushi and service have returned.

Low quality fish, high rice to fish ratios, sauces were super sweet, prices were steep. Service was adequate. Loud and smoky atmosphere. There are many better AYCE sushi restaurants in Reno.

You must try this place even if its just for the bread and butter, its the best thing crust with soft inside served with real butter.

Was just ok… Went on a busy Saturday night with a larger group which always makes the experience a bit different and challenging.

A very nice restaurant, but NOT the best seafood in Reno. Don't order halibut/salmon dishes from here. Yuck. And it's very smokey...it is in a casino! A nice one, but still, don't kid yourself.

Very mid and sub-par sushi. We sent a roll back because it was just….weird. The fish was fresh (salmon nigiris saved the meal), but the sauces used on the rolls were just STRANGE. Yuzu mayo that was bitter and honey garlic sauce that made fish sweet—just very bizarre and honestly extremely disappointing. We tried multiple rolls and didn’t like any of them, but choked down two after sending one back. Even the gelato from the AYCE was “inexpensive buffet quality” at best. Our server was sweet and kind, the menus are on tablets which was so fancy, so we did have a good time. But everything about the sushi was off (from a very avid sushi lover). You will be disappointed in this experience.

Everything was amazing. First time trying this place and from the bread and butter to the main course was delicious. Our waitress Yahaira F. Explained the menu and gave us different options. She made the whole experience so warm and welcoming. Definitely coming back!

Wow. Showed up at 5:10 were put on the wait list. Noticed they were seating people who came after us. We approached seater and she notified us we had already been seated. Gave me lots of extra time to write this review.

The good, the gripe, the grumpy. Sourdough is outstanding, clam chowder and coleslaw are tasty. Gripes: our tablet style menus were dirty and oily and sticky, they needed to be cleaned - badly. Also, were I running the show, I would bump the price on the lunch small fish and chips a bit and give an entire 1.5 pieces. The one served just doesn't cut it. Grump: Our middle aged waiter was so disengaged and minimally present when he took the order my wife and I both burst out giggling after he left. He also counted the cash in our bill folder before he left our table. A first for us, we are a nice looking retired grey haired pale skinned couple, you know. Anyway we would recommend, it is a nice place.

The staff are friendly , the food is amazing , the peppermill has a lot to offer you as far as a casino goes , they are family friendly , they do offer a private room for whatever you have going on ..
