Have always looked forward to and enjoyed this restaurant. This visit the sushi was not as good as it has been in the past. It was also difficult to get our servers attention. Hoping on our next visit the excellent sushi and service have returned.
A very nice restaurant, but NOT the best seafood in Reno. Don't order halibut/salmon dishes from here. Yuck. And it's very smokey...it is in a casino! A nice one, but still, don't kid yourself.
Very mid and sub-par sushi. We sent a roll back because it was just….weird. The fish was fresh (salmon nigiris saved the meal), but the sauces used on the rolls were just STRANGE. Yuzu mayo that was bitter and honey garlic sauce that made fish sweet—just very bizarre and honestly extremely disappointing. We tried multiple rolls and didn’t like any of them, but choked down two after sending one back. Even the gelato from the AYCE was “inexpensive buffet quality” at best....
