Stumbled upon this glorious place on my way home from work. Just moving to San Jose/Santa Clara, I haven't really had a chance to explore. I had a mad craving for a tamale so I figured I had nothing to lose. Their pastry selection is next level: conchas, puerquitos, payasos, cheesecakes, flan, you name it they have it. They also have tamales, tortas, and burritos. They also have a cool section with all the beverages you'd imagine. I was pleased to get a mandarin jarritos and would have loved a tamale de puerco but they had only cheese left (6:30pm) but I def plan on going earlier next time so I may try something else. The cheese was delish and had jalapeí±o in it. Staff is super nice as well and I am hoping to order a birthday cake from them in the near future.

I purchase a birthday cake , the taste not good, the flavor not good, plus it looks like they use permanent maker on the frosting, not good at all they should be a shame by selling this can of cakes, I would never get another cake at this bakery.

Love this place !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Always look forward to the champurado. The bread is always made fresh & is so good. The staff is super friendly. No better Mexican bakery in the area or for miles. The store itself is always so clean & inviting. I recommend everyone should at least give it a try, they have a little something for everybody. You won't regret it.
Staff are so kind and friendly and the Burritos are so so yummy I keep coming back it's that hot sauce they give you aside with it lol and the bread is authentic so fluffy I've tried the champorado and it's deliciously yummy good for this weather

So disappointed I can't offer anymore stars!! The baker here did an amazing job on the cake we wanted. She met my full expectations and went above and beyond! The staff here is also very friendly! We ordered a marble cake with Cajeta (Mexican caramel) and chose a beige frosting color. Cake was moist and cajeta was the perfect consistency and tasted amazing! (I provided my own cake toppers On other occasions we have been here and had the carne asada burrito, chicken torta, chicken tamales, pork tamales, chocolate banana smoothie and gelatina. Everything was tasty! Their English may be limited but please don't let that hold you back from shopping here! They are a great little hidden gem!

I'm originally from a small town 20 min south of Gilroy, Ca and I had my go to Bakery, El Nopal In Watsonville, Ca. Well, after moving to Saratoga I was on a mission to find a good Mexican bakery. I stopped by this bakery before heading back home to visit my family and let me tell you, the tamales are amazing. I got Puerco and the flavor is just, WOW! They are not dry, or undercooked, because I've had tamales where the masa is a bit gooey, and the size of them are perfect. I also go a Licuado, chocolate banana. I could make it at home and I do but when someone else makes it for you, it's 10xs better. I also purchased a concha, and it was delicious, not dry and the flavor was
