Kinda slow
Went here for lunch (take out) got all the way home and when we were eating noticed the honey walnut shrimp tasted funny. We took it out to look at it and the bread on the shrimp was MOLDY. We drove all the way back (with the entree in hand) and after much debate they only gave a partial refund. Side note the rice here is always undercooked, the chow mein is dry, and the workers always have an attitude. Will not be returning and will be escalating the issue.
Food should not be served moldy, this is a health and safety issue.

It's a good place to eat. But the staff has a way of treating you as if you were asking for food when you pay for your food. If you don't like dealing with people, please don't work in places where customers aren't going to ask you for food, they're going to pay.
It is important that they improve their attention, they always want to do everything very quickly and sometimes they feel bad-tempered.

I went in to order 2 Bigger plates; I ordered one as half rice and half chow mein, and the other with full chow mein. They did not have enough to fulfill the request and I was asked to wait for fresh noodles, which is no issue. After the fresh noodles came out I paid for my food after the employee ringing me up confirmed my order. I return home and open my food to find no chiw mein in the half and half, and the stale remnants of the previous batch in the other container. I will never let my wife convince me to not go to an actual Chinese restaurant ever again. Despicable.

This place opens at 9:30. We were in at about 11:00 and I think some of the food was cooked at opening and was not quite hot. This is the first time this has happened 😔

I love panda express! However, each location has its own particular policies and procedures. The way they cook the food, how they serve it and the amount of food are all variables that are very evident, especially at this location.
There is quite a bit of uniformity in the type food however there’s also a great variation. At the store, they kind of skimp on the food when they’re scooping up each dish they don’t necessarily fill their scoop or the bowl. It’s kind of a shame, but apparently they’re being trained to cut back. Reduce servings, save money for the overhead of the business. I guess if you never went to the other panda express stores you wouldn’t realize that you were being cheated on your portions. But more on that later.
The quality of food is also variable. You would think each store would be able to cook their chow mein dish the same way. But this store the noodles are dry. The vegetables are barely cooked and it’s like eating a mouthful of half cooked noodles. Maybe they were in a rush and they just whipped it out before it was done?
The place is really busy so a lot of people are coming in and picking up their second rate food but I’m sure if they had a choice they would go somewhere else. The CASHIER copped a bad attitude! Not real bad but she just didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. There was clearly some new people working behind the counter. I didn’t see anyone out cleaning the dining area like I always see at the other panda express locations, but it wasn’t really dirty so maybe I just missed their cleanup schedule.
I have made comments to upper management through their surveys that are well worth completing. I believe that upper management pays attention to the comments, and I have noticed some changes in the locations that I frequent often, noticeable changes for the better.
At this location there’s a difference with the teriyaki chicken. It’s a mainstay of panda express menu. Usually there’s a tray filled with large pieces and the servers cut the portions with a large knife right before they serve it. Here something different was going on. They had tiny little pieces all chopped up in a bowl and it was rather like some kind of shortcut.
But getting back to the portions once again I took some pictures of my bowl, which granted is only about $8.50, but the bowl was barely filled. That’s very unusual, at all the other panda expresses they give you a heaping portion of the side dish and the entrée. Perhaps I didn’t look hungry enough :-).
Anyway, this is my the second trip. I’ve eaten there at the Kitzke store and both times they have produced skimpy portions. Personally, I will not return to that store ever again if I don’t have to. I would rather drive across town to one of the better locations. I don’t know if they’ll ever fix the problem because I really hope I never go back to that store, it’s so disappointing when you don’t get good quality or good quantity.
Hopefully this is not some trend that other stores begin to reduce servings, but I’ll find out the next time I go to one of the better locations.
