Friendly and attentive service, and the beer absolutely slapped (went with the Turkish coffee black lager, IPA, pils). Good breadth of quality in the styles. Taproom is very cute and cozy, and in good weather there's a nice patio/biergarten outside.
What really sold the spot was the clientele- regulars are obvious, and multiple complete strangers offered this patron food and stories during a random weeknight hang. That's the sign of a healthy brewery and a great spot. Highly recommend to any local or traveler
Cool spot. Good beets. Like that your actually in the brewery
Nice local Vibe and it feels like you literally are drinking right in the brewery
Fantastic lagers! If you love beer then this is the place for you!
its a nice place and the beer its pretty good :)
Hands down the best beer.. I had the red and it was delicious. The atmosphere was great.
Great place to chill and play darts with friends!
840 E . 5'th street is the headquarters for the pigeon head brewery , this beer is amazing , & I'm not normally a beer drinker , but this beer is top notch amazing , I'd highly recommend this place to anyone else ...
The beer garden is one of the best in town. This is a hidden gem worth finding.
Stopped in for one beer and was met by a couple friendly locals and some good beer. I went for their jalapeño hasn’t beer and it was great. It isn’t the fanciest brewery I visited in Reno but for whatever reason it was my favorite. A definite must try.

I’m not really sure if I could have asked for a better brewery. #4 Parking was amazing #3 Service the best (thanks Matt) #2 Ambiance spot on and most importantly #1 The beer was amazing, inventive, thought out, cared for…etc. I could go on and on. Come here and you won’t regret it. This is not only what a brewery should do but also makes Reno proud. Thanks for doing what you guys do!!!!
Good beer, chill atmosphere. Recently expanded outside seating too.
Small place. Probably a good local joint. But, as visitors, the patrons really didn’t seem welcoming. Decent brews, but the place wasn’t clean enough for us to finish them or want to stay and order more.
Crowded and smelled very bad, almost as if a bathroom overflow had occurred. Also, tables were sticky. Not pleasant. I got a black lager which was really delicious but the vibe of the place was just off for me. Maybe it's more of a place for locals but I definitely felt unwelcome.
First visit nice little establishment, the bartender was very friendly & has a lot of regular’s. Very Nice & Welcoming feeling!
