This a really nice casual brunch or breakfast place. I hope you like gravy. I had the as Moneyball with eggs on a biscuit and my wife got the chicken fries steak, they were both amazing.

Don’t wait to try this place. We walked in thinking it was just another breakfast restaurant. Boy were we surprised! They have divine biscuits! Never had such a perfect, fluffy biscuit. The blueberry pancakes and hash-ups were also delicious. Service was on point. The restaurant was clean and nicely designed. There is both seating outdoors and inside. We went on a Friday morning at opening and walked right in, but have heard there is often a wait on weekends. I will dream about their biscuits until we are back in Reno again. Seriously. Great biscuits!

Order first, then find a table. Service moves very fast. Coffee was great. Unique take on biscuit sandwiches.

Excellent biscuits and gravy - choice between sausage and mushroom gravy. Good sausage biscuit sandwich. Very quick and friendly service.

I had the biscuits and gravy. Though it was tasty, but the sausages was like that of government made meat. Not sure if I'll go back to try something else. Not worth the money for the food, so far, or the self service.

The biscuits were amazing! I’m not a huge fan of biscuits but I tried them with some apple butter and am so glad I did. They were light and fluffy and not dry. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend

I've tried it twice. I found my eggs to somehow be oily and my pancakes were too tough for my liking. First time I went I had the gravy fries and the gravy was was watery. The bathroom needed to be cleaned. The service is very nice and friendly. There are many small restaurants and establishments popping up in Reno's downtown and midtown area that are cool or trendy but miss the mark on food quality. Still looking for that one breakfast spot that hits the mark.

I thought the food was amazing. My picky kids didn't care for it but they are super picky.
I tasted everything and I loved it. It was recommended by a local while I was in town.
I took a chicken potpie (take n bake) home. I'll update once i make and eat it.

Killer breakfast food!! Service here was fantastic-- you order at the counter, but the servers still come around and check up on you to see if refills are needed, etc. Everything we ordered was delicious. My blueberry cornmeal pancakes were perfection -- the texture was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. While they were pretty sweet, I absolutely loved them even if I wasn't able to finish my meal completely (the portions here are very generous haha). My family's various biscuits and gravy dishes were also fantastic. The gravy was flavorful, the biscuits were fluffy, and the portions were once again very generous. If you're hungry and craving a big hearty breakfast, Pine State Biscuits is a great call.

Excellent biscuit spot. It’s an order at counter joint that doesn’t disappoint. Biscuits are warm and the sausage gravy is perfect.

The Moneyball biscuit and gravy was the best I’ve had in a long time. The over easy egg was the icing on the biscuit.
I spoiled myself and also ordered one blueberry pancake and had to take a nap after riding my bike back across the river. I will be going back..soon.
Service was great 👍🏼

A restaurant that sells pop tarts. They require you to order at the counter before sitting. But have people standing around rushing you and assigning you a table and number before you are finished. I found it all overwhelmingly irritating they want tipped for this behavior. Their biscuits are terrible and pastey with gravy that smells like burnt grease.
