My husband & I walked into this restaurant today 4/4/25, we have never been here before & wanted to try it, well we did not get to sadly. I guess you have to order first before taking a table & yes they do have a sign but also, they have the menu right at the door as you walk in & if you’ve never been there you’ll spend most of your time in line reading the menu, so I chose what I wanted to order & left my husband in line to order for me & took a seat at one of their open tables. A short time after the young lady at the register came to get me out of the table to let me know she has a sign that says you have to order first. So I got up then walked over to my husband who was trying to order for us but the same young lady kept interrupting, I then asked her if I can use the restroom, she pointed me in that direction but before I could leave for the restroom she looked at my husband & said “I usually start w a hello good morning & how may I help you but okay thank you what would you like” as she said this she was waving her head left to right in exaggeration, her tone of voice was very condescending, she stared at my husband w this smart ass look on her face. I think this young lady may have been having a bad morning, maybe other customers come in & try getting away w getting their table before they order, I’m not sure, but non the less, this was our first time coming here & it was a terrible experience, we kindly told her we’d just be going somewhere else, she said that’s fine & went on to the next customer in line. We will never set foot in this poorly managed establishment. We have never been treated this way at any restaurant. I hope that young lady learns to treat people better esp when working in customer service.

This is supposed to be food like North Carolina. My husband is from North Carolina and was excited. But we both agreed McDonald's would be better. I'm sorry, truly. Aĺl the staff were wonderful though.

I give this a 1 star. Went here today to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. We were a party of 5 and we were already in line. There was a part of 6 sitting on the side and just cut in line. The lady went to the server to say that they WERE ON THE WAITING LIST. Before we came, i called to make a reservation AND THE GUY SAID THEY DONT DO RESERVATIONS. So i'm upset because how come the part of 6 Got a table that fast which was unfair for people waiting in line AND they got to order first before us! POOR SERVICE. Will never come back.

The food is very good, but expensive (2 people with no alcohol and bill was $50). The servers are efficient and mostly nice. The woman (other words for her, rhymes with itch) needs a full attitude adjustment. If she doesn't want to work there, find another job that suits her skill set (anything without people). She soured the entire experience. Even with good food, I cant recommend it.

My daughter and I have loved this place since it opened, but my experience today was beyond underwhelming. Brought my fiance who's never been, and we waited in line for a good half hour-somewhat expected cause the foods good.
Once we actually got into the building we found why it was taking so long. The girl taking orders was also making all the drinks and delivering to tables, all at a snails pace. While watching that happen I watched another employee wandering aimlessly around the almost empty seating area. Once to the register we waited at an empty counter for a bit longer than anyone should while she picked straws individually out of the container to bring to someone at the other end of the restaurant, while the other guy still meandered around. After placing our order to go she asked if all of it needed to be to go(what?). After expressing that, yes, it all needs to be for to-go and that now we were running behind, she snarkily tells me she hopes my day gets better.
Overall-foods amazing, front of staff needs to be trained better, or learned of a sense of urgency. Hopefully if we come back and she's there, she will have an idea of her surroundings.

The food was bland no flavor needed pepper and salt how are you gonna sell chicken fried steak with biscuit with no eggs and no hash for that price the food has no flavor at all. Do you want to eat jail food? This is the spot for you. Never again coming back And served as raw donuts

I enjoyed my biscuits and gravy and my wife savored her cornmeal pancakes. We visited on a Saturday so be prepared for it being busy as it is not a large place but worth the wait.

How do you run out of biscuits? And also why only takeout 40 minutes before you close? First time for that one
