Used to be our go to place for a bite to eat and a beer from the rotating taps. Sorry...not cooking any food today (1245pm). Beer menu broken, scrawled on a board across the bar, Untapped app has them listed, but they have not updated in 2 weeks. Failing. Bummer.

The best burger in Reno and a constantly rotating tap of interesting brews from near and far!

Not sure when or why the name changed here on Yelp, but this is the same great casual sit down spot inside Whole Foods. Oysters served vis the seafood department. Large rotating selection of craft beer. Small but mighty menu of delicious bar bites. All around great experience! The menu has changed here and there over the years, and with those changes came a little variability in the quality. The most recent visit has them back on top of it all, though I did notice a smaller portion on some dishes for the same prices as before. I'm happy to pay for the quality though. I ordered the blue cheese burger and it was damn good. They don't serve them with fries anymore, but it's only $10 and a shareable order of fries is $3-$4. We also had some sweet chili wings and traditional hot. These are larger than before, sauces are average, but they're cooked pretty well. Ask for them extra crispy and it's a home run. Grab a pint or a flight and some bites, and hang for a bit! Do your grocery shopping later!

Absolutely love this place and really disappointed that I checked the website, verified that they were open until 10pm, drove over to get some buffalo cauliflower only to be told that the kitchen was already closed. Doubtful I'll be back after this.

Great little taproom, conveniently located inside Whole Foods! You can grab a bite to eat from the many options available inside the store (taqueria, sushi, salad bar, pizza) and sidle up to the bar or communal-style seating while you enjoy your beer. My personal favorite is a slice of pizza and a beer - you really can't go wrong! They rotate their taps fairly frequently, and I appreciate the variety offered, including local brews. Decent prices too. Honestly one of the best one-stop shopping experiences in town, because who doesn't get hungry while they're grocery shopping? I personally only buy specialty items at Whole Foods, e.g. kombucha, and mostly hit up their salad bar for a healthier lunch choice, but it's nice to have the option of enjoying lunch here or meeting up with some friends for a cold one. Cheers!

I've been going here since day one, the food was always good standard bar fare. Recently they've pared the menu down, and narrowed their focus to broaden their appeal? Their rotating taps are always interesting and diverse, and usually have local brews as well. I had the Korean Chicken sandwich, and it did not disappoint!! The menu may be sparse, but I'm willing to bet it's all good. Hopefully this place stays under the radar of foodies, because I'm not a fan of waiting in line.

Great food, great beer, and great prices! The carnitas nachos are amazing and they're big enough to share. I've also had the cheeseburger and fries. I have to say it is one of the best burgers I've had. I'm not a huge beer person but every beer I've had here has been good. They have a good wine selection as well and I've enjoyed the sparkling rose. The only complaints I've had are there is not a ton of seating and the seats at the bar fill up fast. Another issue is that they are sometimes out of certain items..especially if you come later in the evening. Also, they have a limited staff so it can take awhile for them to get your order. But other then that it's a great inexpensive place to grab a bite..

The first time I enjoyed the tap room it was amazing! Had a great server, great ambiance, awesome food (Reuben, why'd you take it off the menu??? Sad, sad)....Now, poor menu, unhappy servers, bad service. I guess if you're going to a grocery store that has a restaurant in it, you get what you get and you don't throw a fit.....on the other hand, the best part about this place is you can order wine and go shopping while you drink it :) who would have thunk it?

Finally! WE HAVE ARRIVED! What? You've never been to the Tap Room? Well, you need to try this place. They have food and beer, and wine and even some spirits.

This was my first time at the Tap Room ... never quite noticed it before. Anyway, it's a small area at the front of the store, small but adequate lunch menu. I didn't want to have a beer or wine, so I went out into the store and picked up a lemonade and they just rang it up with my lunch order which I chose to sit at the bar to eat. There are some counters and tables if you prefer. Chose to have a Rueben ... OMG it was one of the best I ever had. Came with way too many fries. Almost finished the sandwich. I understand they have a Happy Hour .. great place to stop and have a snack before doing the rest of your shopping. Would definitely go again.

Grab a pint or glass of wine "to go" and enjoy while shopping!

Good tip for dads: volunteer for grocery shopping, make a stop over at the Tap Room. Join dads, husbands, boyfriends for sports, excellent bar food, and one of the best craft beer selections in town.
