Rising For People Coffee

Love this new coffee shop in Reno. Sky and her team are doing a great job and are brewing up some delicious coffeee!

While out running errands, I searched maps for "coffee near me" and stumbled across Rising For People Coffee. Their Blood Orange Shaken Espresso is what brought me into this funky little spot. Do not be deterred by the remodeling, the coffee is most definitely worth the stop!
Their drink menu is creative, fun, and unusual. Love it! After talking to the lovely barista about the coffee, drink menu, and asking for her recommendations, I ended up getting the Blackberry Lavender White Mocha... It was phenomenal!!! Thank you, I will be back to try the others!

amazing people and drinks

Cubano coffee and franch hot chocolate was very delicious And they were very nice. Two small drinks were about $10, the hot chocolate was very impressive with a hard whipped cream on top and a strong chocolate flavor, and the Cubano espresso coffee was my cup of tea because it tasted sweet and strong. I'm going to visit here again

I came for Rising For People Coffee after visiting their stand at the Reno Riverside farmers market a couple of weeks ago. It's worth the extra drive to South Reno. I had the pistachio latte. I'm picky and it's easily one of the best lattes I've had. MUST TRY! Vibe/seating could be better but I'm sure it's in the works.

Coffee flight is fun and charming. Rotating options are fun to try and customizable if any option from the flight isn’t desirable. April was a hot chocolate flight!The situation inside with the two restaurants is hilariously dysfunctional. I called Heaven on Earth’s phone hoping to order a drink ahead and they made me wait 40 seconds before telling me to call the Coffee phone. They all work in a 10x10 cube of space.

Ordered two coffees to go; never got them. Pourover coffee is the only option available…which is fine but most places that offer this service manage expectations accordingly. Waited 15 minutes - no verbal warning about a long wait time or any update whatsoever while we were waiting. Finally, after 15 minutes, we noticed they only had just started prepping our coffees. And rather than brewing both at once it looked like they were only brewing one at a time. I suppose impatience got the best of us…but 20+ minutes for two cups of coffee…c’mon.

Great coffee with very friendly baristas and staff.Lots of seating inside and outside.No chemicals or toxinsProcess protects habitat and tree is planted in Madagascar and Kenya with every coffee purchase

This place is horrible. I have no idea how they have good reviews. The prices are outrageous for the size of coffee you get. I paid $6 for an 8oz. Lattee their specialty drinks are around $8. The wait took a while to get one small latte 10-15min. One mom had to leave without her coffee to make an appointment because it was taking so long. My coffee was disgusting, super bitter, one of the worst I have ever had in Reno/Sparks. The pictures for this place are super misleading they must have taken most of their marketing photos somewhere else or in an old location.

The Latte Flight is awesome and strongly recommend - getting to taste 4 great coffee and tea flavors was fun and delicious ?
