I was excited to try this deli but ended up being very disappointed. I ordered the nutty Açaí bowl and veggie sandwich to go. When I opened the bowl I didn’t find any cocoa which was specified in the description. My sandwich was also missing the avocado and very little goat cheese It was piled high with spinach and lettuce. I was hoping to bring my family to try this deli but I’m glad I went alone to test it out.

We have been going to Rubicon Deli since it was originally in Tahoe City area, so happy they are in Reno, I would say the best sandwiches in Reno NV... Awesome staff and the owner is such a great person, I want to go to San Diego and visit her sons deli's...

Bread is great, sandwiches are pretty good. However when you pay $18, yes $18 for a sandwich with no upgrades that’s supposed to have avocado it should have more than two wafer thin slices. Got treated like a pariah after I pointed this out to staff.

Great sandwich for a fair price! We left with happy bellies and empty plates. Ordered the half godmother and half rich boy and we were pleasantly surprised at how big the portions were. Both were ridiculously good! You have to try the Dutch crunch, it’s like Irish soda bread. (Godmother pictured)

Food was phenomenal! Fast service. We had a Hog’s Breath sandwich, Godmother sandwich, Crannie sandwich, & a Greek Salad. Delicious! The sandwiches came with a small chocolate chip cookie. Indoor dining area was small, outdoor dining would be great in good weather. Don’t underestimate this deli!

Rubicon Delhi was recommended to us by a friend who had that opportunity to eat at their San Diego California branch. The food was excellent. The service was great and we loved the seating outside which makes it very pleasant. Sorry we missed meeting the owner, but I hope she’s reading this review and I wanna let her know what a great restaurant she has.

So there's this couple that I follow online who do sandwich reviews. I LOVE sandwiches but sadly they're from the San Deigo area and many of the places they review we don't have in my area. I get great ideas though. A few days ago they reviewed Rubicon Deli and gave 9/10 and 10/10 on the sandwiches and 11/10 on the Blue Cheese roll. It all looked amazing and I was so excited to find that we had one in my area!! I ordered the Dapper Dipper on the Blue Cheese roll and omgeesh..AMAZING!! 10/10. I also got the Crandie on Pesto and it was delicious! 9.5/10. I also tried the Tomato Bisque soup...I think I will dream about that soup. They make it homemade and it was the best Tomato soup I've ever had!! 11/10!!! All the breads they use are also freshly baked. I ordered each sandwich in the small.. took half of each and saved the other halves for tomorrow. I could barely finish each half but they were so delicious that I had to try. I only had room for a few bites of the soup... so my leftovers will give me a whole meal plus a snack. Also... they sneak a little chocolate chip cookie into each sandwich order. I ate one and thought it was so good and gave the other to my 18yr old granddaughter, who loves chocolate chip cookies and she said it was one of the best she's ever had. I can't wait to try Rubicon again. Kinda glad now that the hubby is out of town this weekend... cause I get the leftovers all to myself! So so yummy!!
