Fantastic bar tender, guy knew the menu and how to take care of people. I ordered the 18 oz. Porterhouse, and first off I have never had such a thin porterhouse. The flavor was good, but I ordered rare and got medium to medium-well. They offered to replace it, but that never seems to be a good bet. Jacketed baked potato was nothing special for it being one of there "special" items.

The reason everything was five stars was because I really felt welcome here. To start off we had an outstanding host named Sean. He couldn’t have been more helpful and I know he wasn’t a waiter or anything but he helped me and my family out with all of our questions and he was great with kids! He really made us feel welcome. The food was also great, I truly don’t know how much better this experience here could have gotten. I’ll definitely be coming back

Prime rib was tough but they gave meal for free…potato was good!
My daughter and I enjoyed this steakhouse the only thing aside from it being a bit pricey is some food like the broccoli was well over seasoned and my daughter who LOVES drenching her steak in A1 sauce was given a tiny amount when she can literally use the whole bottle lol don't ask me why she is weird like that. Other than that we enjoyed the food and time together here ?

My family and I have been going here for years.We've always had a good time with amazing food.Tonight we went in for my mother's anniversaryOur service was lacking as well as our food.Our waitress didn't know the menu at all, wereceived dirty plates. When we said something shehad my husband clean the table with a rag. Whenour food came, my steak wasn't even cooked. Iordered mine medium. My mother's was alsounderdone. I sent mine back, about 10 minuteslater it came back but the outside was burnt andthe inside was dry. For a $30 steak, I was not goingto waste it or complain anymoreWhen my father ordered, the waitress statedthat his meal came with two sides. He then gotcharged for the second side because it was onlysuppose to come with oneOur drink order was not even right, my motherordered coffee and she had to stir it with a butterknife.

The food was decent.. but it wasn't a very busy night and the host is set us down and didn't tell anybody and we waited for 20 minutes before I even got greeted and took even longer to get our drinks which was just water .. I'll go again because the food was decent and decently

Has gone all the way down hill!! This was once mine and my wife’s favorite stake house when in Reno. Very Dirty now bathroom is disgusting half the tiles broken off the sink and looked like a dive bar bathroom. Bar area and dining area a mess. In years past always need a reservation especially on Friday night this time we got right in and now I know why. We got seated right away, but not one waiter or waitress came by our table for 18 minutes and they seated three other tables and brought bread and drinks. Food was brought out cold. We ordered an appetizer we never got then they tried to charge us for the wrong appetizer. It was just a mess in there I will not be back.
Halibet was ok. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and helpful.

The food was actually pretty good. My ribeye garlic steak was tasty.But there was one problem... I found a cockroach in my broccoli.After a full day of skiing I didn't have the energy to make a big fuss.But I was surprised no manager came to apologize nor anyone offer to provide a refund of the entree or comp something.Pretty terrible customer service, wouldn't you say?

I have been going to Ruby River for years and it’s hard to go to any other steakhouse besides Ruby River, and for me, I particularly love their Pepper Bacon Sirloin, medium. It’s always delicious and have never had an issue with the food nor the service!
