Save your money & go somewhere else. The meat is so un seasoned & even the street corn didn't taste good something is off about it. Also you order the second you walk in which is strange. The horchta was awful. 0/10 do not recommend. Can't even call this mexican food more like not mexican food. I can make something better in my microwave. For the price it really is not worth it.

I ordered three street tacos and corn. It's an actual corn on the cob and three small street tacos. Carne asada, carnitas and shrimp. These were a la carte with no sides. They same with a salsa on the side (mild) and onions and cilantro. Cut into super small pieces. And some cotija cheese. I would cut back on the onions and cilantro. Out of the three meats I ordered, the shrimp was the most flavorful. Both the carne asada and the carnitas were soft but the flavor was missing. The corn on the cob was good. The kernels were small and it had cotija cheese on it too. Not too sweet but it's grilled and you can see the toasty parts of the cob. I felt like I was at the backyard cook out! I wanted Chile rellenos but I was told they menu changes depending on what's new, seasonal or weekend. It was a little weird to get a cloth napkin and nice utensils for tacos. Lol it's nice and clean and thankfully it doesn't smell of fabuloso I felt they could elevate the tacos a little more... add some avocado maybe .. it's a cute little place but it's not fulfilling for my appetite.

Always great service. Food is pretty good. Among my favorites are street tacos, Mexican style salad, and street style corn. The special of the day was flautas. May I request to please, please, please put them on the regular menu? They were hot, crispy, the chicken filling was moist, warm and flavorful. 4 flautas plus rice and beans sounds like Mexican heaven. I have my eyes on the drinks next. Thanks for the excellent and friendly service.

I ordered the quesabirria tacos. Had to reiterate my order 3 different times for dude to get it. Then after the 3rd time he reads it back to me stating quesabirria about 15 minutes later the lady brings out street tacos and when I questioned, she tells me that's what I ordered. When I told them I didn't and I wanted the birria I ordered they informed us we would have to get up from our table and get in a 15 person line to re order what we ordered to begin with. Absolutely ridiculous. Update: they brought birria out free of charge. Really good birria

I was really hoping this would be a good quick option for quality food at the Peppermill Casino, wow was I wrong. I had a House margarita that was supposed to be fresh lime juice, it was awful it tasted like the worst powdered sour mix ever, I couldn't even force it down, and it was a hefty $15. I also ordered the carne asada torta, awful again the beef was so tough it tasted like it was microwaved a couple hundred times. Do yourself a favor pass right on by.

The food was mediocre. For what I paid for I rather go get fast food. Owner/manager just walks around and doesn't seem to care. I ate cause I was hungry.

delicious!! here for work and didn't want to leave hotel. I love Mexican food and thought I would give them a try. And I'm glad I did. The tostada was delicious. I had to finish it. Their beans and rice also delicious. The people were so nice. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!!

What can you expect of this place? I've been to two other places in Peppermill and they all have one thing in common: overpriced mediocre food. I didn't expect much, but my grandpa wanted to treat us here so thought I'd try a new place. I'm quite surprised they offered birria, but it was underwhelming. I ordered the queso birria tacos. It came with two and one of them was just half cheese-- my stomach cried for lactaid. The toppings are all on the side but it isn't your typical cilantro and raw onions. Radish was not fresh. The tacos felt like quesadillas except with corn tortillas instead of flour. Food came out pretty quick so I don't expect it to be fresh.

Happy to discover this cute place. We were pretty hungry and ordered 2 Birria tacos, Elote and guacamole & chip with 2 salsas. *Tacos were delicious, full of meat, cheese & consumme. *Elote was a large ear of corn & yummy seasoning (only suggestion would be to not put so much lime. It comes with a lime on the side so you can squeeze it to your liking. *Guacamole & chips was very tasty & plentiful *Salsas we got a medium & a hot & both were very good The service was very good. Girl that took our order explained everything to us & was very friendly Located inside The Peppermill, ambiance is casual, taqueria style, you order at the counter & sit wherever you like

Got carne asada burrito I'm not going to lie I underestimated this place I wasn't expecting it to be good but it was , there spicy salsa is hot FYI. 9/10 burrito, the only downside was the price it was pretty expensive 14 dollars, I would of gave it a 10 but I gave it a 9 because of the price.

These might be the best quessabirria tacos I've ever had!! I am genuinely so impressed and will 100% have these again when I return to Reno!!!

Nice remodel, decently curated menu. Counter order for take out or sit down with a placard. Casino priced of course, but $5 for a bottle of water is steep. If you ask nicely they can give you a cup of ice water for free. :) Ordered Elote and two tacos. 1 shrimp and 1 birria. came out to about $19 with tax and tip. The food looked good but taste and textures were not impressive. The Elote was really salty and lacked zest and the corn was dried out and chewy. Maybe precooked and sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. Tacos were ok, but pretty mild in seasoning. Tortillas were a steamed and soggy. Salsas provided had no heat and no flavor. I think Peppermill can do better.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from Sabroso. But it actually ended up being pretty good and surprisingly affordable. The customer service from the staff, like with most of the Peppermill, was great. No problems there. Our food was served hot and fairly quick. I ordered the quesabirria tacos and they were perfectly messy and full of flavor. The meat was slightly overdone but no enough to ruin the meal. If you're staying at the Peppermill and/or are close by and you're craving fairly affordable Mexican food at the upper levels of decent, look no further. We'll be back for sure.

Happy to see Peppermill added a Mexican restaurant- but the food was not very good on my first try. Started with a $6 12-oz horchata, so yeah, casino-priced and tasted as though it was from a premade container, not great. Next was a $5 elotè, not casino-priced but again, not very good. The corn cob stayed on the grill too long, so it was dried out and moved far across the line from charred to burnt. The only other flavor was a light hint of Mayo, no flavor other than dry burnt corn kernels. Last was a Al Pastor Mula (tortilla sandwich) that was two extremely greasy small tortillas with some meat on, and a small pile of pickled onions on the side. This was horrible to pick up, grease all over me, and there was no choice but to pick it up, for the to-go order had no utensils. The Al pastor lacked flavor also. They are new, I'll try again but I am going to wait a while.
