AS A LATE NIGHT EMERGENCY FOR PET FOOD, I bought 284.oo dollars worth of items.. Every weekend I spend between 250 and close to 400 at SAFEWAY. I pay with cash, tonight at the Reno Store they refused to take the three one hundred dollar bills I offered. There is no sign warning they dont take cash and there I am in a long line because of only one clerk, wow now I'm looking like a dummy. Ive got 600.00 on me and cant buy food WT HECK. If you have a policy to refuse cash, the FEDERAL RESERVE requires the operator to post it before any transaction can be made. CASH IS NO LONGER KING AT SAFEWAY.
