Been coming here for a couple years and love it. Wish I could give it 5 stars, but it frequently misses a 5 star experience unfortunately. Sometimes the ginger isn't fresh, nor the Wasabi. The sashimi is usually fresh, only a handful of times did I find it questionable, and I order the 12 or 20 piece sashimi. The general manager is a great guy, but you can tell they're short staffed on the front of the house, so service time sometimes suffer.
We've heard about this place for some time and decided to have dinner there earlier this week.
The sushi was actually pretty good. We had AYCE and had a variety of appetizers, sushi rolls, and the included ice cream desert. We were both very full and satisfied with the food but the service was sub-par. Two young guys who obviously didn't have much serving experience. Our guy wasn't very attentive, didn't seem happy to be serving us, and just sort of put all the food on the table without much hospitality. The atmosphere is not very restaurant like - all their paper towels, napkins and other assortments are in plain view of the patrons.
I was excited to try this place out due to word of mouth, and while I wasn't completely disappointed, I was hoping for more.

While eating, Bryan made the statement, "Once you get used to it, its ok." lol I enjoyed my one roll (Dragon) and Sake nigiri and will totally go back. FYI the Dynamite was weird and squishy. AYCE 32.95

As a sushi lover and lifetime local, this is some of the freshest and most delicious sushi I’ve had in all of Reno. 10/10 recommend driving to Somerset for this All-You-Can-Eat!

Over the years we have had many experiences with various sushi restaurants but this place is by far our new go to. We have recently been going to their North town location which has great food but the quality of service has been slowly going down the past year which has made us take a hiatus from sushi in general. I really have been having a craving so we decided to try again and reading the reviews from the Town Square location made us interested. We found the service to be exceptional as well our sushi. The taste was so fresh and portioned so perfectly. Meaning the flavors were so individually noticeable but at the same time came together to then dance on your taste buds. I literally did a little happy dance while I enjoyed the meal. Our server was amazing (I am so sorry I forgot his name, we went Memorial weekend on Saturday @opening) He gave us the history of the 3 locations (even if one is no longer available) he held his self with so much respect and he was so personable the conversations with him were very enjoyable and comfortable. He checked on us and kept the conversation going enough to make us feel like we are wanted there not just a ticket. I could tell the employees enjoy working for the owner as well. They speak very highly of him as a great person. I thank you sir for this restaurant and all you do to make your employees happy enough to speak of you. You do not get that often when in a conversation with an employee. The atmosphere was quaint and felt nice. I would have preferred a bit more lighting, it was a bit hard to see the menu I had to use my phones flashlight so my husband could write down our order. I overall would recommend this facility to friends and family or anyone for that matter, anytime. See you next time :)
Started off with the seaweed salad and it really set the bar for the rest of the meal. Something simple done right. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento and everything was amazing. The Samurai roll was delectable, one of the best rolls I've ever had. Even the side salad with the bento was good. The owner was very friendly and made sure to give us time to look over our menu options without rushing us.

Fast service. You may have a 30-45 min wait depending on the time you arrive. It’s a deal for all you can eat between 11 am and closing. They add only a small amount of sushi flavored rice w sea g nigiri so u don’t get stuffed with rice. The seafood is fresh and the presentation is great. The music is rocking so don’t expect a calm atmosphere. The server said the music aids the workers productivity. Love this place! It’s worth the wait.
The best sushi I have ever had. Clay and John are masters at their craft. So friendly and welcoming. Will be back whenever I'm in town, this is the only place I want to eat fish in Reno ever again.
