The service is top notch especially Erika A.that woman is a pistol and a sweetheart. Tip her well she deserves it and earns it. The location is pretty central and my favorite thing on the menu the ever so hard to find Monte Cristo. The only other place I've found one is the Atlantis casino coffee shop and they are both fantastic. I love the atmosphere and the Irish beer. I could have sworn at one time there was Shepherd's Pie too and it was good. It's been there a long time it's a gem not to passed up. It's always funny to me that in Reno or any place in NV for that matter people are surprised by gaming machines. They are in this place too. It's normal here. My relatives when they come believe we all gamble if we live here because even grocery stores have them. I gamble maybe a few times a year and it's only twenty dollars or less. Every time I pass beautiful places like the Peppermill or Silver Legacy it makes me stop and think the reason those places are stunning is constant gambling. I limit myself on that one. Don't miss this place the food is excellent and the drinks are too.
They are back!!! Well mostly. Limited socially distanced seating and no bar seats. But all your favorites are there; Bar Burger, potato skins, wings etc. and as always the great staff. Felt like a home coming after 2 months away. Welcome back. Thanks for all you do. Did I mention the drinks? Oh yeah!!
I’ve been coming here for about ten years or more. Never had a complaint about the food or service. Always been consistent as well. Erica, one of my favorite bartenders is very nice and friendly. Seems like this is the place where everybody knows your name and that they’re always glad you came.
Don't go here. Decent dive bar. Good Reuben, reasonably priced. At 5PM no sign of happy hour anything. Beer list is good, priced from 5.50 to 9.00, no idea which beer costs what on the menu. Service was good. 1st beer on the list was 7.50. Ridiculous. We won't go back.
Food was good, typical bar fare. The space was small, but inviting. The service was excellent. Stacey was our server and was the star of the show. She was on point in every way. Customer service is a lost art today but it was clear that she took her job seriously.
Awesome food, and even better service! I always call for a pick up order for my lunch breaks and they have it ready on time every time. As far as the bar atmosphere.. I really enjoyed that as well bartenders are always friendly, quick and efficient!
I wouldn't consider myself a regular at all...I come in sporadically to watch my English Soccer club when they play on Fridays and grab lunch...they remembered my name, beer I order, and that means a lot. This place is awesome. Service is always solid, and the food is great. The Cobb Salad is the best I've had anywhere. I appreciate you guys! Cheers!
Shenanigan's is a great little pub with a loyal set of customers. It's very cozy, great staff, great food. Try it and you too may be hooked!
Beautiful bar maids, great beer, and delicous pototato skins with plenty of ranch. They treat you right here.
We just popped in here on a business trip to Reno. My family is English, so I love pubs. There was one woman running the whole show and she was amazing! The food was good, the atmosphere was great, and everyone was happy in the place! Highly recommend!
Nope. Someday my mouth will stop hurting from the 40 lbs of salt on my fries. Alerted waitress who was on it and overworked. 10 tables and the bar for 1 girl who also has to bartend? Absurd.
Speckled Hen on tap with fish and chips... what more could you want!
Not many places can say they've managed to stay successful for so long in reno. Shenanigans can for many reasons. An awesome staff that really has been key to the success. Then top that with good beers and great food. Stay saucey kids.
Solid Irish Pub! Great food, good beer, nice atmosphere. Every plate on the way to table.... i wanted that also.
Amazing food, fair prices, nice feel, inclusive, good service
Had my Favorite today!!!!! The club sandwich with fries no salt with ranch to dip is amazing!!!!!! My mom had the steak salad which looked delish and ordered tacos (one of my son's favorites) to go for his after school snack.... anything ordered us amaze balls and never go wrong....has a great by the glass wine list and so much whiskey if you like that....Yummy, Yummy, Yummy got love in my tummy
Great locals pub, over 30 craft beers on tap good for sports watching and to meet people
Place is small but what a great time. Very clean and inviting. Food is always amazing and the staff is always friendly! Drinks are very good and they have an amazing selection of beers on tap. They have a nitrous taps too ♥️ Check out their Happy Hour. One of the best spots in town, for a laid back feel, with resonable prices. 4 stars because their chairs aren't made for all sizes and a bit rickety.
I enjoyed my experience at Shenanigan's. The waitress was very nice and the food was excellent. It came out hot and fast. It was a great portion as well. I would say go to this place not only as a bar but for a restaurant that has a full bar.
Shenanigans is one of the best local spots in Reno. Great booze, great food, great service.
Love there fun atmosphere and food
Had a great time, will go back
I came here for the Fish & Chips. They were very average! You can't eat at the bar because it's covered with gambling machines. Not very Old English.
I stopped in while my car was a shop across the street and I was pleasantly surprised. Wide beverage selection and the happy hour food looked great. Very nice staff.
Been a favorite for many years. Especially the Eggs Benedict, French Dip, Monte Cristo and Onion rings, Very good beer selection.!
not cool kicked me out fot having a gun if they dont want people to carry hang up a sign
Good food and friendly staff made for a good experience
Been going here for a long time. Good local place. Lots of beer choices and good bar food. Awesome service.
Good food -- fish & chips -- but slow service & preference is definitely given to regulars -- or so I figured when waitress called them by name. That's how my first visit went, but the food was good enough to give it another try. Same, but this time there was no apology for 40 min. wait for dinner. So, no chance I'll become a regular.
Good selection of beer. Small, quaint bar. Good salads. The ranch and Cesar are house made and really good. I would suggest the crispy chicken on the salad!
Best Pub in Reno!! very Friendly
Had dinner here. Hubby had fish n chips. I had a burger. Service was ok. Food was good.
Best Cesar salad in town. I recommend the blackened chicken. Aslo they have really good wings. Cooked to the Bone. I recommend the sweet and hot, as well as, the cajun dry rub
When I picked my husband up from a recent late night flight, we both had Shenanigan's on our minds. The pub, that is! It is conveniently located between the airport and where we live and is open late, so it fit the bill. We have been to Shenanigan's several times under similar circumstances and each time we say we need to come here more often. We have always felt very welcomed from the minute we walk in the door, the service is great, the food is very good and reasonably priced, and they have our favorite beer- Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA! We have been to several English/Irish pubs across the pond over the years and this one makes us long to travel again. We are lucky to have this little gem of a pub here in Reno.
Good food, good price, nice people.
Awesome Bartenders here. Has the feel of Cheers. Yummy Chicken and Beef Tacos!
Friendly staff. Great food
Top to bottom left to right...best neighborhood bar in town!
The beef quesadillas are fantastic!! I go out of my way to get there by Paratransit Bus just for these! I have heard from other cstmrs that the chicken wings are great too. I'm from Buffalo, so I would have to try them myself to do a review.
