I was in town for work and wanted to get a drink at somewhere low key. Located right in the heart of Reno, Shim’s Tavern is a good place to get drinks with friends. They have a lot of beers on tap and they make their own house cider.
The Bloke behind the bar is Fantastic. Couldn't be anymore kind and quick. Great Happy Hour. 2 for 1. The atmosphere is like you spun back to 1900. Will be back again and again.
Such a nice quaint place. Both gentlemen I've seen working there and have engaged with have been very pleasant and gracious letting me wait there in the warmth for my work shuttle. Thank you ! I look forward to just enjoying a bit of time there on my day off.
