Went for the AYCE sushi for lunch. The fish was decent quality. The service was excellent and for the price it was definitely the best AYCE sushi I’ve had quality wise.

Our favorite venue at Atlantis is the Sky Terrace Oyster bar. The couple next to us had the oysters and they looked amazing as they headed to their table. We both have our favorite dishes to eat here... But with some new items on the menu we had to choose the Jalapeño poppers! We had no idea how wonderful this choice would be.. I think it's one of our new favorites! The jalapeños were seared with a thin layer of a crunchy coating at the base. The jalapeños were so fresh tasting, membranes and seeds removed nicely, so you get that "fresh" jalapeño flavor. The mildly spicy surimi Crab mixture was excellent, along with avocado, cream cheese, sushi rice, topped with Unagi sauce and a thin drizzle of a red spicy sauce as well. I am not a fan of overly spicy items with the exception of wasabi, so I was surprised this sauce was spicy but not overbearing. My husband had the poke bowl, which is his favorite, he was tempted to try the seafood or the Sky terrace fettuccini, but had his appetite set on the Poke! I had a bowl of clam chowder. The clams are easily edible and there are many! I like a creamy and flavorful chowder and this did not disappoint! We also ordered a rainbow roll, which was, as always good. We enjoy the beautiful view while dining, especially at sunset. As always the wait staff was great. This is one of our favorite places for a relaxing and enjoyable meal.

A lot of Sushi places in town seem dark, service is subpar sometimes when you don't speak Spanish to a Hispanic/Latino sushi chef, but not here, My experience here has always been great, especially with the over all service, the servers are friendly and constantly clean and refill drinks/water and the Sushi chefs are friendly and pretty fast in making rolls. I have frequented many Sushi Places in Reno, Sparks and CC and this still is one of my top favorites.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator for easy Wheelchair access
The food tasted great however we got home 8 hours or more later sick as a dog very disappointed will contact restaurant complain about it later used to be a great place to eat now it

I used to love this place for years. But the last two time I've gone it has given me food poisoning. The first time it happened I figured it was something else but I guess not. When I went last night almost every person who worked there was straight up mean to me. Would walk away from me, made me change my table twice and managment glared at everyone. The only nice person in that whole place was my waitress who kinda looked like she was about to cry. I guess I have to find new seafood restaurant to go to. They are updating the appearance but I guess downgrading quality
