Quick visit to Reno and stopped in to Slieve for some local craft beer. What an amazing brewery! Great beer and seltzer and a wonderful family business!
We just stopped in Slieve on our way to Truckee over the 4th of July weekend. We really enjoyed the beers! Especially the Red Rye IPA and the Irish Stouts. Everyone working was a great and our dog even loved the patio we sat at. I would recommend coming in a next time you are in Reno
Great beer and good people. One of Reno's most hidden gems
The owner, Mr. Mountain was super nice! The brewery is in an old Firehouse. The beer is outstanding with a lot of unique flavors. Bazooka bubble gum, whoppers malted milk balls, key lime, granny Smith apple to name a few. We brought home a can of the Jose Gose (the key lime) and the bubble gum one.
Moved to Reno recently, been trying all the different beers and breweries made here locally. In my opinion, this is the correct answer. Not just one or two beers that taste really good, but almost all of them.
Just came upon this place on Google maps. Definitely worth a visit for some excellently crafted beers. Tried a flight and was pleasantly surprised with each one.
If I could give a zero I would. Website and sign and doors they open till 7:00. Closed at 6:06 p.m.
Really excellent beer. They have a great selection and some fantastic euro styles as well
Of course everyone has heard of a micro-brewery but a nano-brewery? Not I! but I'm thankful to have learned of it at Slieve. This is a chill establishment with some decent space to spread out and enjoy the numerous brews on-tap. The owner is super engaging and it's obvious he loves the craft. Look no further than the nearly constant new beverages added to the tap to confirm that. Go check it out!
Best beer I’ve ever had brewed by an even better family. Always warm and welcoming to everyone who walks in. Definitely worth a trip (or several).

Beer was excellent! Owners and staff are excellent, too!
Great brewery in Reno! Comfortable atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor space. Pet friendly on the terrace. Tried the Cherry Saison - very good! Bought several 16 ounce cans ($7.50 each) to take home. Nice looking merch.
Stopped in for a pint and ended up doing a flight. The atmosphere was chill, the staff was friendly and most important the beer was delicious. Each beer in the flight was unique with different flavor profiles, the Cherry Saison was my favorite. So if you want a chill spot to throw a few back and hang out I highly recommend checking out Slieve.
One of the best breweries I've been to!
Nice brewery with wide open seating. Decent menu of brews on tap. Modern. Good service. Will return.
