A little pricey and the menu is pretty limited but the staff and location are great. Also nice to support this local family business.

Service was great, location was also great with a scenic view of the river running through downtown. I ordered the salmon and it was average, wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t bad either.I would eat here again but try something different on the menu.

Marselo was our server. Made us laugh the entire time. Great food (Crab plate and the Cod). Coming back tomorrow. Wine selection was great and reasonably priced.

One of our "must do" restaurants when we visit Reno. Why? Keep reading.Absolutely perfect service- no really!Food is exquisite. Portions are generous and cooked to perfection! The overall dining experience is completely delightful. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions that you will receive. We have eaten here several times and the experience has always been great; hence this review, and our continued patronage. Many thanks to the staff and chef at Smee's for making two of our friends birthdays awesome!

Drove all the way from Truckee to have a nice seafood lunch here. No warning whatsoever on apple maps or yelp that you had changed your hours. Very poor management.

Fish and chips was excellent as well as the clam chowder, great location with nice views. Very attentive service and clean presentation. Looking forward to another visit already!

This is such a boring place to eat. The menu is very limited and it's basically a fish & chips place l, but the chips (sliced think fried potatoes) are soggy and not that appetizing. We should have known something was up when we were notified that they only accept cash and they would give you an atm fee discount off of your bill if you used the on-site ATM. The owner is that cheap? I mean, seriously! The service was the only highlight, but the two wait staff seemed as if they had something better to do, which I get, but don't work at a service-based place if you'd rather not talk or interact with people. The fish (cod) itself was flaky but, instead of two larger pieces, they brought it out as 4 smaller pieces, probably because it was cheaper for them to buy from their distributor as smaller pieces. The flavor was meh and I doubt we'll ever be back. 20% of the mussels we ordered were still closed so that was a waste. Check the plating and don't serve bad/unopened mussels to your customers. I only recommend this place if you're looking for bland food and a somewhat quiet place to eat it in. It's just another boring Reno restaurant that strives to be mediocre, at best.

I've walked by Smee's a dozen times and finally came in the other day for a quick bite to eat with my mom before a show. The restaurant is very open with lots of seating indoors and outdoors - I'm sure it's fabulous to sit out there in the summertime along the river! They also have bar seating with a few game machines as well. When we got there, there was no one else in the restaurant so we were sat right away. We chose to sit at the bar. The bartender (possibly owner/manager, unfortunately I did not get the chance to ask), was very kind and quick to serve us. He made excellent recommendations and answered any questions we had. We both ordered wine and just a small appetizer. My mom ordered the bruschetta and I ordered the steamed clams. Both of these were absolutely incredible, bursting with flavor, and I highly recommend them! After we left and got to our other venue, my mother quickly realized she had left money in the machine she was playing. When she called the restaurant, she was initially told there was no money on the machines which was very unfortunate. But, she decided to go back in after our show just to verify. It turns out the gentleman behind the bar had cashed it out and held on to it in hopes that she would be back. Very grateful for his honesty/integrity!

We started to do better dining options lately. This place was exquisite. The cocktails were very tasty and nicely presented. The food was fresh and to die for. I usually have to feed my wife crab the whole time. Lol ? cracking

Four of us came here for dinner on a Friday evening ahead of a magic show at the Pioneer Theatre. We walked up and were seated right away as the restaurant wasn't very busy. I was looking forward to eating here as I hadn't been before. There were many wonderful sounding things on the menu, but I was taken aback by some of the prices which narrowed down what I was willing to try down to only a couple of things. Two of us ended up ordering the cod fish and chips and two of us ordered the Asian style seared ahi salad. The meals came out pretty quickly and looked good on the plate. The one complaint about the fish and chips was that the serving size of the coleslaw was rather small. The seared ahi salad looked great as well. The ahi was tasty, but the salad didn't have any dressing on it. That was quickly remedied by the waitress bringing us some vinaigrette, but it would be an Asian style dressing for this dish would be a great addition. The restaurant itself was stylish and has a robot back-waiter.Everyone was friendly and overall the food was tasty. If we are looking to have an extravagant seafood meal in the future we will return.

Had a lovely evening dining outside by the river. Well taken care of by Kira. Her smile and care made my day. Cheesecake was pretty good, too.

This place has some great fresh seafood, would recommend if you have time! We arrived at 3:30 since Google said it was open at 11:30 but it didn't open till 4;00. There were no servers but a gentleman (maybe the owner?) Greeted us and took our order and was straight up with us about his staffing, some servers didn't show up. But I was very impressed with how he handled the situation and at the end of the day it was a good experience with good food which is why we went there. Check it out
