Is this location really shuttered forever now? If the news article I read isn't wrong, that's incredibly sad.The one time I stopped here when I was in Reno for appointments, because I couldn't use the drive through (still during COVID protocols) since I'm deaf, the manager came out in person for my order to the parking lot and personally delivered the food to me the same way.It was incredibly moving and that burger tasted delicious. Everything was perfect. It was just like I remembered from Austin, Texas' places.I will miss this place as an option for a good burger.

"STORE CLOSED" signs posted 2/14. Now both Reno locations have these signs posted. :-(Previous review:Burgers are excellent, cooked to order and great tasting. Menu has shrunk, some good unique items are still there. Garlic burger, butter burger, frisco burger, are the unique items still on the menu. Thin burger patty, which is my favorite, cooked all the way. Interior has a nice atmosphere and is clean, with friendly and efficient employees. Unfortunate they do not have the $4.44 menu like other Steak N Shakes have or some slightly higher priced for the area variant of it.

Probably the most underrated chain burger. As good if not better than In n' Out but without the constant long lines. But that's the one star off. Like a lot of fast food places these days, service can be slow due to understaffing.

First time here and would definitely come back . Guy working the drive through had great attitude. The Western Burger combo with Kit Kat milkshake Decent size burger with double patties. Barbecue sauce just enough kick to it and fries not drowned in salt. Ha , the milkshake a diabetic nightmare but really good . Seemed a little skimpy on the pieces of Kit Kat. Liking the whip cream on it. 4 stars because Im a cheap A$$ and .40 cents per ranch packet is weak .. Buddy recommend this place to me and he was spot on ..

Food was delicious, love the burgers from steak n shake. The only thing that was strange is that they don't carry their signature fry seasoning, which we were accustomed to from all the other steak n shake locations we visited. Otherwise it was a good experience. The restaurant was clean and inviting.

Indoor dining was finally available after 3 years since Covid started. However, I'll never return. It was dirty and smelled like a bathroom door was open. The burger was okay, but the fries were not good. Worst of all, they were out of skakes due to lack of inventory. How does that even happen? The manager should be ashamed of themselves.

The shakes are always great and the staff is always nice. They were short staffed but had the had the hustle. Kudos. The shoestring fries are ok, but there are a couple thing I cannot get over on the steakburgers. It's the buns hun. They get soggy and mushy immediately. Detracts from the experience, so I end up throwing away the remaining buns.Rule #1 in burger fight club, you must have buns capable of sustaining hot meat and grease without turning into mush or breaking under pressure. This is the way. Back to bun testing for you.Mustard needs to be in on the party. To leave it out of a standard burger is close to a felony. Mustard is your friend after you grow up. :)

Service was prompt and food was served quick, but the food has a lot to be desired. Underwhelmed, fries(shoestring) got cold too fast, and the burger fell apart before I even finished it. Not sure what the hype is about this chain... average at best.

The food is really good, and the price isn't to bad. Not sure what though you can't go in and eat.

Good menu. Great burgers. They even made a puppy patty for my dog in the back seat. Fast. Pretty short line in the drive through. Excellent shakes.

Kids wanted this since we were staying at the Springhill hotel for two nights. Decided to get a few items for the kids . Eventually the kids were disappointed and mad about the fries being salty Also seemed to be a different batch of fries because some were hard and some were warm . We had 4 different combos and some a la carte. Also not stocked on Apple Juice for kids .
