their meat quality from my last torta had one really grisy chunk in it and it was oozing with mayo (yuck) i forgot they put mayo on everything because their food lacks flavor

I decided to try El Super Burrito today based on all the good reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was far from great. The only positive part of my visit was the ordering process, which was smooth and straightforward. I ordered a burrito for myself and my daughter, planning to bring mine home for my husband. However, after taking a bite of my daughter's, I quickly changed my mind. The meat tasted old, and every bite was overwhelmingly salty—like eating a spoonful of salt. I have high blood pressure, so I have to be careful with my sodium intake, and this was beyond anything I could safely eat. Hoping to at least exchange it for something else, I went to the cashier, but a different employee was there. Their attitude was awful. Instead of even attempting to be helpful, they just told me, “Customers get what you get, and that’s it!” I get that places have policies, but I didn’t even get an apology—just a cold stare. On top of that, their side salsas were completely watered down. You could literally see the separation in the tiny plastic containers—half salsa, half water. And when my daughter asked for light ice, her cup came packed with more ice than soda. The cashier told me to call and speak with a manager tomorrow, which gave me some hope, but after reading other reviews, it seems like that’s just their go-to response and no one actually gets a resolution. Definitely won’t be coming back.

I ordered an asada burrito and they gave me one with beans and rice!!! Almost no meat!!! I went to that place because of the reviews and what a disappointment...the cashier serves you reluctantly, it seems like she works for free

We came for the salsa bar and it’s no longer set up. On top of that they charge for salsa. That’s a first for a Mexican restaurant. The bean and cheese burrito is more cheese and tortilla than beans.

Hidden gem in Reno. Their portions are HUGE and their prices are like it's 2019. Every restaurant in Reno is jacking up their prices. Chinese restaurants charging $18 for an entree. Please. This place should distribute fliers at UNR. They'd get hundreds of poor college students. They have the best breakfast burritos around w cheese and beans. Most places forget to add cheese. And they're called speedy for a reason, there was 6 cars in the drive thru and I swear in two minutes I was at the window picking up my food. How they make food so fast is one of the timeless mysteries on Earth like how they built pyramids w no large motorized construction equipment.
