I’ve tried several sushi places around Reno, but this one is definitely my favorite. The rolls are perfectly balanced—not packed with too much rice—so you really taste the fish and ingredients. They also have a great variety of special rolls, and each one feels unique and well thought out. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh and flavorful, and the presentation is beautiful. If you’re a sushi lover in Reno, this place is a must-try!

I had a horrible absolute horrible experience, not only did they gave me a attitude and rude faces and were watching me the whole time as I was there. I felt uncomfortable and I didn’t not like the atmosphere. They also were acting like they were doing me a favor eating at there restaurant. Absolutely horrible.

I recently visited Sushi One again, hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately, it was even worse than before. We were seated with the same server who had previously provided poor service. From the start, she was unfriendly, gave us attitude, and even made rude faces. At the end of the meal, she once again complained about the tip, stating she only makes $12 an hour and that we shouldn't come back if we don't plan to tip. She insisted that she only wants customers who will tip her. This is completely unacceptable behavior. When we asked to speak with the manager, he made excuses for her actions. I had written a review about a similar experience before, and it's clear the management isn't addressing these issues. As a result, I will never return to Sushi One. I refuse to pay for a service that is not only subpar but also comes with such blatant disrespect. And I also doubt that they’ll ever fix the issue. There’s so many reviews about this lady begging for tips.

I have ordered food twice and for sushi extra sauce is a must. Each time when asking be prepared to pay 0.50 per sauce container of which they don’t fill up when half way up. Also they will not let you pay for this sauce on a card because of a $5.00 minimum for card charges. I don’t consider this great service.

Ordered online for pick up and requested Sriracha sauce they stated it would be 50 cents I offered to pay with Apple Pay they said they could not do that since we would have to purchase 5 dollars or more, we didn’t have cash had 4 orders and they could not spare 1 sauce, they lost 4 customers over 50 cents.

I got diarrhea for 2 nights after getting their 3 rolls and some free sake here with my girl. AVOID them if you dont want to waste your money and get your health issue. Funny to see all crappy reviews betwen customers vs owner response.

My family and I come to Sushi One all the time and usually have a great experience, the food is always good, and the service is normally excellent. Unfortunately, our visit today was rather disappointing. We had a female server who barely checked on us during the meal. At the end of our meal, I decided not to leave a tip on my card because I planned to leave a cash tip instead. However, as soon as she saw there was no tip on the receipt, she very rudely commented, “No tip?” and before I could even explain, she started getting mad and she said a few other things then started telling her coworkers loudly, “Look, they didn’t leave a tip!” That kind of behavior was completely unprofessional and embarrassing on her part. After reading a few reviews it looks like she has done this before and you guys clearly don’t care about what kind of service the employees give.
