Food was good. Manager was pretty rude though. We came in with a big group of 9 which couldn’t be accommodated so we sat in 3 groups which was okay for us. When the 3 checks came we were each given automatic 20% gratuity despite not being sat together. We asked for this to be corrected, which he wasn’t happy about but did anyway. One of us had a fish allergy so we asked for her food to be plated separately. The waitress was very kind and relayed this information to the manager, and I overheard him complaining about it. Her food came on the same plate as mine with fish touching it so she could not eat it. There were more instances similar to this regarding his attitude.

sushi was great...fast service even tho they were busy. servers forgot a couple things we ordered but we told them an we got it. that's the only reason service didn't get 5 stars. Just being honest. great place good prices excellent food.

Best place to go before you go Costco shopping! Their poke bowls are my favorite. The staff is always so freaking nice.

Our first experience here was fantastic. We walked in based on a friend’s recommendation and waited for a spot at the sushi bar. We lucked out because our sushi chef, Ernest was absolutely awesome! He helped us decide on new things to try, and everything he put out was fantastic and beautiful! Hoping next time we come back we get him again!

The server added an unexpected $5 charge for two half-eaten hand rolls. One of the hand rolls fell apart because it was too soggy from the excessive amount of rice and sauce inside. In all of my experiences with all-you-can-eat establishments, I have never encountered a policy where a fee is imposed for partially eaten food without any prior notice. To make matters worse, the sushi rolls were made with an excessive amount of rice and were overly thick, which made them difficult to finish in the first place. But, either way we finished all our long rolls. When I asked the server to explain the additional charge, she was unable to provide a clear or consistent explanation. This entire situation is extremely frustrating and, quite frankly, makes no sense.

We've been to the sushi pier in Lake Tahoe many times. This is our first time here. Hands-down best sushi place on the West Coast. Staff was wonderful, helpful very attentive. They have a new menu that is excellent. They have a few special items. Also that you cannot find at the other sushi Pier's. Overall 10 star experience. We live an hour away and we will definitely be coming back more regularly
