Stopped by on my way to Tahoe to grab a quick bite. The food and service were excellent. Very authentic and excellent quality. Friendly staff. Guacamole was fresh & excellent I had the chicken mole special which was also very good.
Ordered this restaurant's signature tripe soup. There are not many people on snowy days, but there is a steady stream of people. The waiters almost only speak Spanish and order food quickly, but there is no service at all.
The tripe soup was a bit salty and I drank a lot of water that day. Except for the salty taste, the tripe was very well stewed.

Reliably good yet special- great place for a family dinner. The tortilla chips were really fresh and warm!
