Had steamed broccoli, which was good and only slightly chewy. Note to self: microwave broccoli and cauliflower, no better or other way to cook it. Had sweet potatoes with cardamom. First time at Whole Foods that an odd pairing of spice and food complements one another. Then , I had white fish with cardamom. The fish wasn’t totally dry and the cardamom was novel but not necessary.

Whole Foods Market, by and large, does a good, if expensive, job of proving fresh produce, seafood, and specialty items. Since the take-over by Bezos's Amazon, the Reno WFM has declined. The latest travesty is their fresh pizza. We ordered a combo; there was almost NO sauce, so we complained. The staffer recommended a veggie pizza, because it had more sauce. Now, who in their right mind would make a pizza with BROCCOLI? Yup. Lots of broccoli, FRESH tomatoes, and cheese. WORST PIZZA I have ever had!

One of my go to spots in Reno, Whole Foods not only had a nice selection of fresh produce, but it also is a great spot to grab lunch. There is an assortment t of foods to choose from (sushi, pizza, sandwiches, food bar) and you can enjoy you purchase at a friendly wine and food bar (on far right of restaurant) as you enter. Be sure to pick up a loaf of Sunflower Seed White Cheddar bread. And the hot food bar and salad bar are very good. LOTS of gelato, too.

The products are good, some of very high quality. But the prices are high so not a good place for your weekly shopping. They do have some places to sit and eat your lunch.

We only visited the prepared food section here, but it's one of the best I've seen in any Whole Foods across the country! The selection is extensive, the food is tasty, and everything looked clean, fresh, and appetizing. The store itself is in a good location and we loved that there was a large seating area outside to enjoy your food. A great store!

Now that I live in Mexico any excuse to shop at WF is a total treat. Love every aspect of the shopping experience, Whole Body, everything is grand.

We belong to Amazon Prime so was interested in visiting Whole Foods. Very well laid out and food appetizingly displayed. Old time butcher shop and a great bakery. Pleased they had a coffee bar and small restaurant. Pub available but didn't get a chance at any selections. Vegans are going to suffer and complain loudly about the food selections, but they'd complain anyway, so great shopping experience, different selections, but high prices.

Friend said meet them there for a beer and pub food. Skeptical at first, but found out it's really fun, dozen plus tap choices , good wine list , and you can request any wine they carry in the store. Great Burgers, Rubens,Salads, Pizza. Super friendly bar staff, Cozy atmosphere and you could even shop in the store.
My spouse and I used to love Whole Foods, excited to eat at the salad bar and warm food section and shop for vegan foods. However, having just returned there since Amazon took over (we had been out of the country) we were sorely disappointed. I could not even choose the salad bar since it was primarily meat and the vegan options such as Asian tofu and other products were nowhere to be found. In addition, to shop for vegan options such as alternative meats and cheeses were reduced to one to two options which were out of the way and hard to find. We will stop choosing Whole Foods as our go-to place. It is unfortunate as veganism increases in popularity that Whole Foods would become less attractive to people wanting to buy vegan products. Thankfully, there are great other places to eat to shop and we will be doing just that.

Wife likes to shop here to get certain items. Its the only place she can get her walnuts shelled. Place is laid out nice to find out other things. Great place to shop.
