This is one of my favorite lunch spots in Reno. Their lunch specials are reasonable and the food is really good! They can make anything as mild or as spicy as you want; I usually prefer things spicy and a #10 spice is fantastic (and super super hot)! My wife doesn't like spice too much so a #2 spice is usually what she gets and enjoys it.
We've been coming to Thai Lotus for about 15 years and it's been consistently good.

We have dined at this restaurant twice now, and each visit has been an excellent experience. The food is consistently outstanding—especially the curry dishes and the Pad Thai, which I would highly recommend to anyone. They also offer a wonderful selection of Boba flavors, making it easy to find something for everyone.
What truly stood out, in addition to the food, was the service. On both occasions, our servers were attentive, personable, and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer my questions about the different curries and made the experience feel very welcoming.
Overall, this restaurant combines delicious food with genuine hospitality, and I look forward to returning again soon.

We live out of the Reno area but make a point of eating at Thai Lotus when we're in South Reno. The food is excellent and the lunch special is very reasonable. We love the Thai Basil and today also tried fresh spring rolls - excellent! Highly recommend!

The food here is very clean and the flavor is on point. I got the salmon salad and spring rolls. The very beautiful and kind waitress named Selvie asked if I would like shrimp or avocado spring rolls... so I said one of each and I'm sure glad I did. The avocado spring rolls are amazing.

This is my go-to for local Thai: their paneng curry is one of the best around. Pad Thai is very popular here, too. Great lunch special during the week, and a good price/value. It’s a small place and often there is a little wait so try to avoid the peak times if you can.
