Went in to grab drinks with a friend and got accused of using a fake ID because mine is from out of state. Owner was incredibly rude and threatened to take away my legal identification unless I called the cops and had them verify it. He talked down to me and was very condescending. As soon as I pulled out my phone to call the police, he told me he “didn’t feel right about taking my ID,” gave it back, and asked me to leave. Very unprofessional, rude, and I will not be returning.

Went In last night for a little fun because I finally had time off. The drinks were under poured. I met a gal and the bartender came between us and ruined my night out of jealousy. I’ll be calling back later and expecting a full refund. She couldn’t even listen to a drink order without telling her 3x. Horribly unprofessional.

I had a terrible experience at this bar; the staff couldn't even show respect to long term customers or appreciate their willingness to return. The owner's unprofessional and verbally abusive responses to customer reviews clearly highlight this places ambiance. Visiting this bar feels uncomfortable, as if you're walking on eggshells in someone's home, rather than a public facility. The bartenders demeanor needs help, they come across unfriendly and unenthusiastic, probably due to their working conditions... I do not recommend this place.

Me my girlfriend and 2 friends went here last night. Same bartenders and staff all the time. So flippin rude, bartenders had rbf and when we would ask about a drink they would show no interest or be mad we were even ordering. I'm trying to play pool, can't find the pool chalk, tiny thing. Owner screams at me, "it's right there!!!". Like I knew. Not recommended if you wanna go somewhere and not feel like someone's breathing down your neck. Gotta be better.

Very poor service. The owner sits at the entrance with an absurd amount of animosity, a grimy look in his eyes as if he can’t stand people entering his establishment. The shots were given out in cheap plastic cups instead of glass. The environment was filled with negative energy on a beautiful night. I recommend that you all stay away from this life draining abyss. On a side note he ate a full meal at the entrance but denied someone to bring a simple hot dog inside but offers no food but a vending machine with old chips that are over priced.. they also don’t ID for drinks and have no wheel chair access

The music at The Arlington Saloon was too loud and obnoxious. It made it impossible to have a decent conversation.

This bar has moved / changed address. It is now : 50 N Sierra Ave, Reno NV 89501. Rather than create a new entry, I hope the TripAdvisor moderators read this and make the necessary update. ~ ~ ~ During our trip to Reno, we visited a lot of really nice drinking establishments. While we aren't old (per se), a number in our group felt like we aged out of some of the other bars we visited. (The clientele was mostly an under-30 crowd; the music was too loud--that type of small detail.) That's why we were really pleased to discover the "Blind Dog Tavern". The Blind Dog Tavern occupies a corner space at the intersection of N Sierra St (x) W 1st St. As a result, two of their walls are actually large format windows that allow you street views. The interior's décor has a darker color palate; it has a sophisticated look. The back bar is beautiful. This bar has a few token beers on tap, and a limited wine selection--but the place specializes in serving cocktails. The cocktails we imbibed were mixed well. And the mixed drinks we observed served to others were presented well. The staff was high energy, personable and attentive. This bar is just a block off of the River Walk. It is across the street from a movie theater, and close to a number of restaurants. I would recommend the Blind Dog Tavern if you wanted to visit it as a single destination, or if you wanted to incorporate it as one of many stops in your night out on the town. By the way ... on the *two* evenings we visited, it was a wonderfully mixed clientele--all ages (of legal drinking age).

Disgusting behavior. Owner interrogated any patron about their age despite providing our id cards. Tried to play pool and they still harassed us about our ids and age. Owner would not leave us alone. The arcade bar next door is great but do not waste your time here

Tried to take my friend’s real ID. Claimed it was fake. It was not. It took five people arguing and suggesting the police to be involved in order to get his ID back. Dangerous situation. Stay away at all costs.
