Not my favorite overall but they do have some very good unique rolls. I go here with my friends after class sometimes and it's always decent.

NEW OWNER and the fresh fish is top of the line. The sushi chefs are perfectionists. Rolls are the same every time! They're still working on the interior design but once you start eating... it's so good! Thanks guys for getting this place in order!!

Service is fast and friendly staff. Place is clean and accessible. Love the sushi and the dessert roll

Since it was called sushi bar, I did not think there would be all you can eat. Food was pretty good but on the smaller end. We ordered a lot but didn't really know what was coming to the table. However, besides that, the service was great. Our server was nice and attentive. I mean we were the only one there but she had really great energy. One thing I wouldn't recommend is the GDL roll. It was spicy and sour and wet. Not good at all. I do recommend this place tho! Definitely worth a try!

I wish they kept the old menu. Fine the place got bought out, I undetstand as service sucked ass. But the sushi options were different than everywhere else. Every menu in Reno [AYCE] is exactly the same, just named something different! Bring back the freaky edemame, and fire rolls!

Wonderful new spot! Solid food that doesn't try to blow your mouth off with spicy. Especially loved the texture of the Peachy Roll with a crunchy asparagus in the middle and flavor of the E39 although my husband wished it had more crunch. Best of all, their own parking lot in the middle of downtown Reno so we didn't have to circle endlessly for a spot. Definitely recommend you support this new small business!

This place used to have amazing veggitarian and vegan options, but for some reason they just changed their menu and took all those options away. The whole reason I used to come here was the vegan city roll, im really sad they discontinued all those options. This used to be my favorite veggitarian sushi spot and sadly I won't be returning after the menu change :( Why discontinue ALL the veggitarian options when it used to be SO inclusive?Vegetarian options: This place used to have amazing veggitarian and vegan options, but for some reason they just changed their menu and took all those options away. Ever since Carlos sold it this spot is not the same. Menu is smaller, vibes used to feel like home with Carlos and his squad, now it just feel like a regular sushi spot. Used to be our favorite spot but they took away so many good rolls like, temptation roll, honey badger nigiri, even the appetizers, etc. will not be going back.

We came in today looking forward to the awesome rolls this place had only to be informed that it's under new ownership and there's a new menu. There is nothing new about the menu besides the basic that you can get anywhere else, which is such a bummer because the only reason we would come here was for the unique rolls and nigri. Wish you all the best.

I went in for sushi on a Sunday for all you can eat sushi. My experience was not the greatest. We walked, we were asked to take a seat anywhere, so we decided to sit at the bar as the place is a little small and the bar had more seating options, the bar was dirty, the menu was also dirty nothing had been cleaned or wiped off. After a few minutes of sitting the server came and eventually wiped off the bar and the menu for us. We were provided our drinks after we ordered them in a timely manner. They had 2 sushi chefs to begin with behind the bar at first. One seemed like he was new in training, the other seemed like he was very familiar in making sushi. The one that seemed new was our sushi chef at first he would ask us what we wanted, we would tell him and then he would seem a bit confused and was constantly asking the other sushi chef what it contained. He did this for every roll we ordered. Eventually he walked away and started helping another chef that stepped in to help the two that were behind the bar. He seemed to still be confused on what the rolls contained and continued to question that chef and I could tell that the other two chefs were getting a bit frustrated with him. Since he had walked off we were unattended and the other chef came to help us. This guy definitely knew what he was doing he was friendly to us even though he was in a stressful work environment. There seemed to be a lot of tension behind the bar. This guy was getting pestered by the other sushi chefs, he was persecuted several times. Unfortunately for us sitting at the bar we heard a lot of the complaints by the chefs and even though this chef was overwhelmed he held his composure, and was nothing but friendly and professional to us. I feel that this place has a lot of potential I almost feel bad for leaving this review because of that reason. They have a lot of options on the menu that looked so delicious. I had heard nothing but good things about this place and were very hyped up. Unfortunately for us the experience wasn’t the best. Maybe we came on a bad day, as we all have bad days and that’s understandable. Overall I’d give this place another opportunity but after some time passes.

The food was okay, took awhile to get (even though they weren't busy)The restaurant was boiling hot . Their AC must be out or something but we were sweating sitting in there trying to enjoy our lunch. The service was slow, it was a kid who waiting on us for the last part of our meal. They didn't come and clear our plates as we finished so our table got crowded. Asked for a refill on ice tea and they gave me 1/2 a glass as a refill... picture is shown. The sweet Mayo is not good in my opinion so if I ever return I will ask for that to be removed from my rolls. The kid serving us seemed annoyed with us ordering more rolls (we got all you can eat) Definitely worth trying but will we go back... probably not.

Great concepts for rolls but not executed well. Sushi itself was not great. Rice was a little gummy. Rolls had mostly Krab filling. Not a super welcoming or friendly environment either; especially considering this is a small business and the owner works as a sushi chef. With that being said, this is how every sushi place in reno is rolling these days. RIP reno sushi

Stopped into this cute spot while on vacation, nice little walk from the Silver Legacy. We were the only people in there when we came in, and we were immediately greeted by a young man who helped us for most of our stay. We were also greeted by other staff members who gave recommendations and just came to chat. Super nice and friendly atmosphere! We went with AYCE because we don't have it back home and I LOVE nigiri. My favorite was the Cajun salmon nigiri, of which I ended up eating six pieces. We also tried the tako, bbq tuna (my other fav!), Donald, Mickey, Wiseguy Curly, and hamachi. The hamachi was the only let down of the group, but I forgot about it quickly and just ordered more of the others. We also had a Skipper roll, which was super tasty! We finished with a banana boat and one last salmon nigiri. Didn't get picture of it all because I was just excited to eat. They have amazing lunch specials and the prices are overall pretty great. This would definitely be my sushi spot if I lived here! Much love from Spokane, Wa. I'll be back some day

This was the worst sushi experience I have ever had. I was excited to try it but will never come back. The dining room was not clean, the older server lady was rude, told our server we were wasting food and I literally had eaten the one roll we got in the hour we spent there. Not new to AYCE so I know what the rules are. It has potential but get better servers that know how to keep it clean and know about customer service. Especially when they are talking about me in Spanish and I understand everything they said. I regret coming here, go to ToKyo sushi.
