I recently went to the kings row location and I am so confused. To preface this, I have been to three other blind onion locations in reno/sparks, so I know ehat blind onion pizza tastes like.
Is this blind onion the same as the other blind onions in reno? My first confusion was the atmosphere. It felt kind of dirty and small and weird. Then there was the menu. It was not the same as the other ones. The pizzas were different and there were items missing, like the cinnamon/garlic twists. They had no fountain or water cup options either, which was strange.
We ordered a medium half and half pizza and some wings, which wasn't cheap, but I knew what o was paying for and Ive had their pizza before and was happy to pay for it. The two people working there were very nice and accommodating, but that is about the only good thing I could say about the experience.
We got our wings first. They came with carrots and celery, like as wings, but the carrots were baby carrots. I know thats so picky, but I have never gotten baby carrots with wings before. It just felt cheap. The wings obviously came with ranch too, but the ranch was STORE BOUGHT ranch! One of the things Blind onion is known for is their delicious homemade ranch!
The pizza came next. While tw topping on the meat pizza were good, the bottom crust wasn't sturdy enough to hold up the pizza and the bottom was soggy. The crust was CLEARLY a different dough recipe than blind onions as it was hard and crusty rather than fluffy and it didnt have that twist pattern.
Blind onion has set a standard at their other locations with very specific things. I am seriously so confused how this pizza location is called blind onion, because literally nothing is the same except the name. If I walked into this pizza place not knowing ehat it was called, I would not guess it was blind onion. Either way, I will never go back to this location, and if youre a fan of blind onion pizza, I would encourage you to pick a different location or skip it altogether.

I ordered a large order through DoorDash what was delivered was a pizza so burnt on the bottom it was charcoal. I called to speak with a manager who told me to request a refund through DoorDash, knowing that wouldn’t happen.

Ordered garlic chips and chicken wings for pickup. Arrived on time, 40 minutes after ordering and had to wait 10 minutes. Garlic chips were tasteless and under cooked. Chicken wings were tasteless and skin was under cooked. Food was terrible. Threw it out. Service wasn't much better. I will never go here again.

They didn't have honey. We had to ask for cracked red pepper and parmesan. Felt like I was ignored when trying to ask for anything at the counter. And then they started cleaning with ammonia while the restaurant was still open and we were still eating.
This place used to be soooo good. Super disappointing. This was after a couple of crappy takeout/delivery experiences. Not getting honey that I had to pay extra for. Getting the wrong order.

I recently revisited this establishment after several years, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The prices have become quite steep, while the quality of the food has remained stagnant, with no noticeable improvements over the years.
The pizza, particularly with the meat toppings, had an unappealing, stale taste and lacked freshness. Additionally, the ranch dressing had a sour, almost rancid flavor, reminiscent of milk nearing expiration. The drinks also left much to be desired, with a noticeable cardboard-like aftertaste, suggesting they may have been stored past their expiration date. Unfortunately, after eating, I began to feel unwell, which further dampened my experience.
In contrast, I would recommend exploring their franchise partners, such as Opposites at Wild Garlic. While not owned by the same individuals, it is managed by one of their business partners. In my opinion, the quality at Opposites is significantly better and offers a more enjoyable dining experience.

The pizza wasn't really tasty at all. The vegetarian pizza's toppings were not as fresh as we expected. There is no aroma to it. The onions, bell peppers have no taste, the tomatoes were cold and just put on top of the baked pizza. The garlic bread has no garlic taste too. Maybe the meat pizzas are good. But as vegetarian, the quality is not the best. This Blind onion that I'm pertaining to is by Kings Row location

Called in an order. They said it would be ready in 30 mins. I arrived after 30 minutes. I waited an additional 30 minutes. When we got home, the pizza tasted like it had sat for 30 minutes. The quality was average.

This was a solid choice for pizza. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy during our visit, and our order was ready in about 15 minutes, which seemed reasonable. The crust was on the thicker side with a crisp texture. While that’s not my personal preference, I can see how others might enjoy it. If you typically like to add parmesan or crushed red pepper to your pizza, be sure to request them, as they aren’t provided by default. One unique aspect was the sausage, which came in large chunks rather than the crumbled style we usually see at other pizzerias. While that might not be what everyone expects, it added a distinct texture to the pizza. Overall, I’m glad we decided to give this place a try, and I can see it appealing to those who enjoy a heartier, crispier crust and chunkier toppings.
