Nice quick bite. Service was great. Cool little beer samplers. The Octoberfest or ween flavor beer; is now a top pick for me. The burger I got was tasty. You can asked to be seated outside when the weather is nice. The River is 2 minutes away.

Jasmine is hands-down one of the main reasons we keep coming back to The Brewer’s Cabinet. Every time we’re there, she greets us with a genuine smile, remembers our usuals, and goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect. She’s attentive without hovering and always makes us feel welcome — like we’re regulars at a friend’s place, not just customers grabbing a drink.
It’s rare to find someone who cares that much about the experience, and Jasmine consistently goes above and beyond. Her warmth and energy bring a lot to the atmosphere, and it wouldn’t feel the same without her. She’s the kind of person who makes people want to return, and it shows every time we visit.

Stopped in on a Friday night and there were only two other parties there, not busy at all, and it took awhile to get seated. We were served our water right away and then didn’t see a server for quite some time. I was about to go order beers at the bar since all of the workers were hanging out there talking, but finally a server came over to take our food and beer orders. The food came out in a timely manner, fortunately. The fries were pretty decent, and even though the veggie melt was quite greasy it was still tasty. Again, it took forever for the server to come back around for another round of beers because everyone was hanging out talking behind the bar. I started with the blonde ale which was good, but the oatmeal stout I ended with tasted like bad homebrew, as did my husband’s amber ale. The stout tasted like bitter chocolate due to overuse of cacao nibs and it lacked the body oatmeal stouts are known for. The amber ale smelled like dirty dishwater. We wanted to like this place, but with poor service, subpar beer, and learning about past health violations we will not be returning to this establishment.

This used to be one of my favorite places in town. Over the past few years it has gotten worse and worse. The staff closed the kitchen early and sat at the bar. At least the server was sympathetic. Seriously. What happened?

I live out of town, I had a beer with a friend at another establishment that I liked so much I had to get some. Finding out that you can only get this beer in Reno saddened me I live in Idaho. The next possible chance we had to get to Reno I headed straight over to the cabinet for a Dirty Wookie or twelve I might add. The bar staff and people working there are top notch, I’ve been back a handful of times in my 3 week visit the food is really good the service is great and you can’t beat the beer! Thanks to the manager and our server Chris who made my visits a pleasure. Be back soon . George

Went there for lunch and it seems like the owner is setting his poor workers up for failure, 3 people were working the entire place! We sat for about 20 minutes before a drink was presented to us and then an hour later still hadn't even received our food so I walked in and noticed the host,server and bartender was the same gal!!! We walked out hungry and won't be back.
