Really enjoyed brunch here from top to bottom. Kind and attentive service, nice space, top notch pair of live musicians (Colin Ross and a reed player), and most of all, creative interpretations of a variety of traditional and less traditional (for here) dishes. Excellent!

Brunch here was astonishing! Got sat quickly by the friendly staff and it's gorgeous inside. Ordered their house hamburger and not only was it the best hamburger in Reno but the chef actually delivered it to me in person and told me about their well sourced ingredients. Not only was the burger perfect and juicy, but the buns were probably the best I've ever had. On top of all that I wasn't expecting to have live music marionette the room and my experience. Great place to go for a special occasion or if you just want to indulge yourself. Most definitely going to be racing back! ?

The new cafe at the Nevada Museum of Art is a big improvement over the prior Chez Louis Cafe.We enjoy going there regularly when we are visiting the museum for an exhibit. It is good, basic food you'd find in a cafe - but well done and tasty. The drink menu includes wine, beer, cocktails, coffee, tea, fresh orange juice, etc.The service was pleasant and the wait for food was short.Prices are about average.

The latest visits have not been as good. The sandwiches are still good but the soups are really marginal.

So glad that brunch and live music are back!On a cold snowy morning we enjoyed a delicious brunch and bottomless mimosas serenaded by a talented musician. The menu is short but mighty. There's something for everyone. Some traditional brunch options such as salmon eggs Benedict and some more global. We loved the Croque Monsieur and Shakshuka Eggs. The space is filled with natural light. The floto ceiling windows let appreciate Nevada blue skies and in this particular morning snow flurries. Service was prompt and attentive. Definitely coming back. Soon!!

Way back in December of 2015, Gayle and I dined at Chez Louie, of which that outpost was located on the ground floor of the Nevada Museum of Art. Fast forward a number of years, and the Cafe is now being run by Roundabout Catering. Gayle and I came up from Genoa last Sunday to enjoy a very pleasant Brunch with our friends Jim and Marti. The restaurant space is pretty much what I remembered, particularly it's roomy space, big windows, and nice light. Sunday parking remains relatively easy, although the lot between the Museum and the adjacent office building seemed fuller than we expected. Surprisingly, that didn't translate to a full dining room, although it should have. CONS- Cash register (after the meal was over) training could be improved. Our attentive (and apologetic) wait person couldn't figure out the 10% Museum Members Discount or how to split the check in 2 straight down the middle. I was advised to call the restaurant on Wednesday to straighten it out, but decided that it wasn't worth the trouble considering the quality dining experience that we enjoyed. PROS- Cafe by Roundabout had a nice menu, with a lot of interesting choices. - All 4 of us experienced a most delicious brunch. Marti and Gayle enjoyed their Salmon Benedict (with the sauce on the side), while I did the American Breakfast (eggs, bacon, potatoes, muffin, coffee, and OJ), and Jim went for the burger. I stayed alcohol-free, while 2 glasses of chardonnay and a bottomless Bloody Mary was enjoyed by the other 3. - Our Table service was attentive, friendly, and efficient. - And there was good music! Note - All the while, I'm wondering about the financial viability of this restaurants within a "public" space with variable foot traffic inside and some invisibility outside. For the quality of service and food that we experienced, I would have expected a fuller room. Maybe Roundabout also gets catering dibs for the scenic group space on the 4th Floor which helps their bottom line. We do hope to be back and wish Roundabout the success here at the NV Museum of Art.

Enjoyed a very nice lunch and then subsequent fika at the cafe during the great winter storm of New Year’s Eve in 2022. Kind and prompt service, and very clean and open.

The cafe is my favorite place to meet a friend for lunch or catch up on emails/work away from home. The food is fantastic! The menu is on the smaller side but they add different items that keep it fresh and fun to eat there, and everything I've tried so far has been DELICIOUS. The atmosphere is perfect in the museum, very casual and good music. I first came for their Sunday brunch which was phenomenal! Great food and live soft acoustic music-so fun!!! And now I'm hooked. Honestly I dont want to share this gem but they're too good not to let people know about. It's a must try if you're in town! And you don't need to pay to see the museum to stop in and eat or get cocktails, coffee, whatever your party is up for.

As a former Chez Louie devotee, I was heartbroken when they closed. However, I'm so glad a new restaurant opened up in this wonderful location. Brunch is $26 for essentially a 3-course meal plus drink. Bottomless mimosas are very affordable at $14, but they are mostly orange juice. I'm not sure if the courses change or not... We had the muffins which were bite sized, warm, gooey, delicious. I could've filled up on these alone. Next came the fresh fruit martini which had a decent medley of different fruits and a thick, rich cream on top. There are 11 solid options for the main course and everyone I was with enjoyed their meals, though I have to say, the two earlier courses were the highlight for me. While they still seem to have some kinks to iron out (making sure their wait staff is knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring there are no egg shells in dishes - an unfortunate occurrence and immediate turn off), we had an overall positive experience and the service was friendly and attentive. Don't forget to mention if you're a museum member to get a discount.

Nice to have the Café back in the museum. Few things in life are better than getting a culture and food fix filled in one trip. The set-up is pretty much the same as it was before - you order at the counter, find yourself a table, and they bring the food to you. The menu is small, but there is a nice variety there that should have something that appeals to everyone. My sweetie and I both ordered the Chicken Sandwich, I had sparkling water, he had a beer. The sandwiches were very generous. A perfectly grilled balsamic chicken breast with bacon tomato jam, mozzarella, lettuce and tomato, all on a brioche bun accompanied by a generous portion of fries. The chicken was perfectly done - moist and flavorful. The bacon tomato jam gave it a bit of zing and the brioche bun held up through all the juiciness. We are looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other options on the menu. We have had the Roundabout Burger before and know that is always a great choice. All in all, it was a most satisfying meal.

Went to the museum with a friend and decided to give this place a try. You walk up to the counter to order they give you a marker with a famous artist name on it, and you seat yourself. Our food and drink were delivered in a timely manner. My friend ordered the burger and she said it was delicious. I wanted something lighter, so I got the Golden Beet. WOW not only was it visually beautiful but incredibly delicious. It had roasted golden beets, hummus, hard egg, avocado, goat cheese, pickled red onions, and walnut crostini, with everything spice. There was also a "dressing" of sort and golden raisins. Just excellent! The whole menu, although small, sounded delicious. I'm glad that you can eat here without paying admission to the museum. Definitely a spot to add to your spots to try.2/22
