I’m a little biased toward The Emerson because their drinks are phenomenal! One of their OG cocktails, the “Hi Bestie,” is my forever favorite. But somehow, I’d never tried their food until now.
We finally stopped in for their Tuesday Grilled Cheese Night and it absolutely delivered. I ordered the Banh Mi grilled cheese, and it was bold, flavorful, and had a kick of heat that admittedly was a little much for me (though I’m more sensitive to spicy). The slaw and tri tip played so well with the melty cheese — a total flavor bomb.
We also shared the Genoa, and it was next-level good. The salty, rich salami paired with the fig jam and gooey cheese with the crisp, buttery sourdough… perfection.
The atmosphere is eclectic and welcoming, with vibrant murals you’ll want to snap photos of. There’s a great mix of seating — from cozy couches to big tables — so whether you’re out with friends or having a casual date night, you’ll find your spot.
Even with it being busy the service is always amazing and we got our drinks and food quick!
Already planning our return for more grilled cheese and definitely saving room for dessert next time!

been loving my new vibe of doing laptop work while sipping on cocktails. i’ve come here 3 times in the last 3 weeks and have tried new items every time; food and drinks. never been disappointed on taste or ambiance. come at certain times with work and you’ll feel like a boss btttch getting it done while getting litty. until i’m able to do this in my own place, i love coming here! i’ve come solo every time and they don’t ever make me feel weird about it🥰

Got there a bit late Friday night. The place was packed because there was a live band. The vibe is 30s young, upbeat, friendly. Drinks were good. Decor is trendy. Snow White's PSA on the way to the restroom is bold and funny. I would go back.

It has been a long time since my wife and went out on a date and we stopped by for the first time at the Emerson. And let me tell you that it was a great night. Service by Jessica and Marcus was above and beyond the atmosphere was great. Jessica made us a couple of drinks ? that were mind-blowing. Overall it was such a great night out with my wife, can't wait to go back again. Definitely recommend the Emerson where you can enjoy a nice walk ?♂️ from midtown to downtown as well and visit many other nice places like the riverside. Thank you.
