Went in on st Patrick's day to get a drink. After 20+ minutes being ignored by the bartender we went next door for a beer. Thankfully that place was fantastic. There were maybe 5 other patrons in the place at the time so it wasn't busy.

A really fun bar to grab a few drinks and relax. They're always playing classic movies on the projector and playing chill music. Bartenders there are impressive and friendly. Also fantastic selection of martinis.

Everything about the event from the drinks, to the service to the food truck was incredible!Post this, it's always a great place to go, hear a smidge of music, enjoy the ambience and enjoy a great expresso martini!This is one of my favorites for a chill night out whether date night or out with friends.

My crush and I decided to stroll around midtown and ran into this small joint. The vibe was pleasing, lots of young faces and set the mood just right, we had so much fun. Drinks are a little pricey but were worth every sip. For someone who is new to Reno and likes to experience what it has to offer, The Emerson was not a regret. 10/10

I've had The Emerson bookmarked in Yelp for months and with my youngest daughter in town finally had an excuse to visit it! Every time I pass by it looks so fun-and the patio looks so inviting and cozy with the fireplace going. It's decorated really cute inside with plenty of comfy seating options. I had the Midnight Mass-made with blackberries and fresh mint-very refreshing! The other 2 cocktails my daughters had were also very good. Service was great. It was not very busy on a Wednesday night around 7:00 which was perfect for us as we wanted to talk. Highly recommend this cocktail lounge if you're visiting Reno or a local.

My bf and I went to this place around 4ish, and it was pretty empty. Our bartender did great while we were there. He showed some of the whiskeys for my bf, and he loved it.I usually order cocktails, and they were so refreshing, not that sweet it was perfect!It was my first time visiting there, and everything was very clean, neat, and cozy.I definitely want to go back again! Check this place out!
The Emerson is the perfect place to stop in for a girl's night or some fun, delicious cocktails and snacks! I've been here a few times to grab drinks and it's always low key and not too loud, and the bartenders are so lovely and friendly and are happy to give recommendations. I've also been here for a drag brunch for my birthday and it was AMAZING! I think it needs to be a birthday tradition now.

As someone who has lived in several big cities, I would say that Emerson is definitely one of the best five bars in Reno. It is always upbeat, they have fun, creative cocktails, and more than anything. It's a really positive atmosphere with good dance, music and a diverse crowd having a good time. The crowd is pretty young, but it's also mixed. Every time I've ever gone here we had a great time.they get fun, diverse acts, including drag, show brunch , so you know it's gonna be a good time if the gays love it.Parking: they have their own parking like maybe eight spots or so
