The owner of this place not only abandoned it because he was involved in some criminal activity but if you look up Black Rock Desserts and Creamery on California Ave in Reno the menu is way too similar. As if he were copying them.

Everyone enjoyed all our carefully crafted milkshakes. Everything can be changed custom to your liking and the ice cream they use was amazing. The service was excellent with the employee making everything just like the pictures and being really helpful with suggestions.

I stop in for a cone every Saturday night. They have tremendous milkshake options but you can also do just ice cream. Staff is friendly and ice cream is delicious, a great spot. If your sweet tooth is demanding satisfaction I recommend this spot.

The milkshake was fantastic. I got the cookies and milk shake and it was amazing. Very creamy and not overwhelmingly sweet. It was actually pretty refreshing which isn't common with milkshakes. I would definitely go again!

My gf and i were walking past and she had a craving for ice cream so we stopped in. No priced posted but figured it is a milkshake so not to bad. 1 milkshake was $17.
We ordered a milkshake and waited....for over an hr. My gf and i talked about leaving but we figured "ice cream!!".
It was the worst milkshake we have ever had. It was mostly milk! It was so runny and tasted like milk...
The location does not disappoint. Bryant was friendly and accommodating..

The milk shake I had, the Mint Chip was thin enough to drink with the large straw provided. It tasted great, and was certainly a spectacle of a milkshake, but I like mine thicker than glue.
Maybe next time I can try ordering extra thick? But that's personal preference.
The place has bar seating right along the ordering walkway and a continuous bench along the wall. Not a place to linger, and it is violently orange.
