We don't usually go out for Valentine's Day because we find the prices high and the quality low. We decided to try the grill at Somersett golf club since they were having a special. I think we'll stay home next year. The New York strip steak were all served medium rare. I told the waitress I don't care for medium rare and wanted medium. She actually told me they were all cooked medium rare. I told her I did not like rare meat and wanted the chef to put mine back on the grill. Even after that discussion, she brought me a medium, rare, claiming it was medium. Sent it back immediately. They finally did bring it back more medium, still a little rare. my husband ate his medium rare and said it was very chewy. The sweet potato au gratin was the star of the meal, absolutely delicious. Dessert was a chocolate, molten lava cake, which actually came cold out of the fridge. That is a first for me to receive a cold chocolate molten lava cake? The cake tasted very good but it wasn't a chocolate lava cake.

It was cold out of the fridge, and although the flavor was good, it was not a molten lava cake.

Always a pleasure to pop in and have a nice, relaxing meal at the Somersett Grille. The burger is my favorite in town, the meat is nicely seasoned and always cooked as ordered. It's served on a soft buttery bun that is lightly toasted. The nachos were a new try for us and they didn't disappoint. Very well layered with cheese, olives, pickled jalapeños, and tender, tasty steak. Topped with generous dollops of sour cream and guacamole perfectly rounded out this dish. We also shared the tomato bisque soup offered as a special. It was fresh and ever so slightly spicy. I have to mention the leather chairs at this restaurant because they are ridiculously soft and comfortable. Can't beat that!

We have been going her for a few years now. It's had its growing pains but seems to have found their stride now. I must admit that my favorite meal here is breakfast but any time you go here, you're sure to have a good meal and good service
The Grill was pleasant, quiet and the food was served hot and delicious. The server was excellent, knowledgeable and friendly! It was an excellent experience! We will be back often.

Fantastic short ribs and Carbonzo Ham soup, but the chef has to dial back the salt. LESS SALT. The customer can salt to taste if needed. Lots of waitresses, few customers, and yet wine refills can be slow.

Excellent restaurant!! Dinner was delicious and service fantastic. I have been many times for happy hour but tonight was dinner. Great menu selections. The staff are always friendly, efficient and overall this is a wonderful place.

Had a pretty bad experience today. We’ve been going to the Grille fairly often recently with great service & food. But today was the opposite story. We had a reservation for 1:00 and service was SLOW!!!! Ridiculous to wait 40 minutes for three salads!! What?!?! Then, you’d think we were invisible because couldn’t get anyone to bring any tea refills!! There must have been 6-7 staff milling about in the restaurant, but I had to work at getting someone’s attention just for iced tea!! (Which had no ice when it was delivered, btw).If THIS is going to be the new normal, I’ll be fine with not going back!!
I would highly recommend the Grille at Somersette. The setting is beautiful and the service was very good. One food item, the Italian stew which this device won't recognize the true spelling, the crab meat should be in the stew, not just the legs. Who wants the bother with cracking the legs.

Enjoyed every part of this restaurant from start to finish. Greeted warmly upon entering, and not too busy for a Thursday at lunch.Seated promptly out on the patio, which overlooks the golf course and amazing mountain range.Server was kind and attentive. Food came out in order (app then main), hot and ready to go.The hummus with flatbread was OK, I was hoping for a bit more of the lemon to make its presence felt. A solid starter, good for 2 people to share.I ordered the Pastrami Reuben and it was lovely! Great flavor to the pastrami, awesome marble rye bread, very nicely put together.The side salad had a white vinaigrette that is absolutely AWESOME! When I go back, that will be a feature of my salads every time.Very pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere, and I will certainly return many times for lunch or dinner.Golfers who play here, make sure you stop in after your round!

The Cioppino was delicious, though the crab was very difficult to eat. My friend enjoyed her halibut and we both agreed that the chef needs to add anchovy to the Caesar salad dressing. It is BLAH without it.
