I've been frequenting The Lodge for close to two years now. Their coffee is excellent and they have an excellent team who knows their stuff and is always a joy to be around.
It's a great place to get a cup of coffee and chat with friends, have a quick, informal meeting, or just relax and listen to their live music. Daytimes are also good for pulling out a laptop and working for a bit.
I have recommended this place to several friends who all come back with glowing reviews of their own.

Such a sweet space. Came and stopped here for a beer after our hike, and it was such a pleasant experience! They had a dog adopting event when we came and we got a hold puppies, the whole time it was magical. We will definitely be back.

Such a good spot to stop in on your way up Mt Rose or just any night for a great drink and food. Their pizzas are so good! Outdoor seating with dogs welcome, live music, plenty of seating and well maintained indoor restrooms. I love coming here!

Parking: 20+ parking spots
Kid-friendliness: very kid-friendly, babies to teens
Wheelchair accessibility: Upper parking lot has handicap parking and wheelchair access to door of establishment. Door is not automatic but usually open or one of the staff will happily open the door for you.
Nice little spot for coffee or a drink on the weekend when they have music or special events. Limited food choices but good for small bites.
