The Mug Shot Coffee & Eatery 205 S Sierra St, Ste 104, Reno, NV 89501 March 14, 2020 Saturday - 7:45 AM for a coffee 2 Adults Atmosphere - 5 stars Drink - 3 stars Service - 5 stars Background - My wife had to do lab work that required fasting. Of course she wanted me to go with her, okay chauffer. So my reward was going to a coffee shop. Atmosphere - Last time I was here it was Battle Born Café and you would not even recognize the place. The place has a lot of famous people's mug shots. I love the Johnny Cash sitting for his mug shot. The wood is what stood out to me, the long counter against the wall was great. Drinks - Coffee of course and my go to is mocha. Because I ordered the large I got a paper cup. My wife ordered a standard size and got a mug. If I am staying in I want a mug. We I receive my coffee I want it to the point I cannot drink it. I want it to be too hot. Those little sips of joy picking up all the little notes of the coffee. The temperature was not where it needed to be for me, as I could have chugged the coffee. They use Wood-Fire Roasted Coffee Company, a great local coffee roaster. Service - We were the only people in the place. I do not know if is because the weekend, just opened, or COVID-19. Our cashier/barista felt awkward behind the counter as we were reading the board and looking around. She was great on explaining some of the drinks. Future - Sure.

Service is lacking. Took my whole 30 minute lunch just to get my food. Didn't have time to eat it so I can't tell you how it tastes.

Wonderful and fun cafe! I was visiting from out of town with my dad and we decided to stop here for brunch. We both adored the decor inside as well as the coffee and the food they have to offer. The waffles are to die for and the toppings bar is so smart! The fruit was all fresh and delicious! Please go here you'll be happy you did :)

Was so pleased to find this coffee shop that has so much more to offer everything from waffle art to avocado toast drizzled with balsamic vinegar You will definitely not be disappointed and I'm a picky one!!!!!

Came into Mug Shot excited to try something newer in the area. I know the location but honestly I was still surprised by the pricing for a waffle bar. But to be fair, you are paying for convenience here. The waffle bar has everything you can imagine (as shown in the photo) including very fresh fruit. The waffle itself was delicious and fluffy. Wonderful breakfast!

The breakfast burrito was perfect after a big night out in Reno. I added avocado. The eggs tasted organic and the cheddar was sharp. The burrito is served with a small ramekin of amazing fresh chopped salsa with herbs. I used the salsa for half my burrito - coulda used a larger serving. Service was friendly and warm. The 2 women there were very nice and seemed to enjoy their work. It's a cozy spot, good coffee and healthy food options, nice music and clean stylish bathrooms. I'll plan to come here every time I visit Reno.

I feel so bad as I did not get the name of the lady who was behind the counter. She was great! This was our first time here, a little coffee after church. This place is so cute. Great open area with lots of seating. Very warm and inviting. They have mugshots of famous people on the walls, from baby face to marilyn monroe. Too funny!
