The Sandwich Spot (Reno)

Walked in and was greeted right away. Placed our order and only took a few minutes to get our food. I had The 775 and my husband had the Hulkmania. Both were delicious!! Asked the guy if he was the owner, he was. Then he asked if we like spice and gave us some of their spicy sauce. So good!! Great customer service and great sandwiches!! Highly recommend.

Everything was amazing. So good!! Roast beef and Swiss on Dutch crunch.

Legit best sandwhich place in reno.

One of the best sandwiches I ever had!!!

I tried the sandwich spot in Reno today. It was a great disappointment and a waste of money. I had a French dip. The bread was overly large, the aujus didn’t have much flavor. The price was twice that of what I could buy a sandwich at another restaurant in town.
I will not go there again and do not recommend it.

We used the Sandwich Spot for a catered event. I called the day before to make sure we were good to go. Adam the manager confirmed my order and said it would be ready for pick up at 5pm the next day. The NEXT DAY when we arrived to pick up our order, the doors were locked and the store was closed at 445pm. I called multiple times and left multiple messages. Finally at 515 Adam called me back and apologized, he said they had forgotten about my order(even though I spoke with him directly the day before to confirm). He said he would have to go back and make them all at that time. He showed up an hour and a half late with sandwiches that looked horrible and were not well received by our guests. More than half of the entire order was thrown in the trash because it was not eaten. I called and complained and asked for a refund. Ty- the manager of their other location said he would handle it and see that I was refunded for the poor experience we received. It has been over 2 weeks now and no refund has been made and no one will call me back. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. They train wrecked my event apparently don't care.

Amazing food and the owner was very personable. He went above and beyond to make sure our experience was lovely. Gave us homemade/ fresh macadamia nut cookies that were to die for. Very much recommend this sandwich spot!

1st time here. On my lunch date. I usually try French Dip to find my fav French Dip places. Order French Dip for me and #7 Shawn of the Dead [Pastrami] for my date. Look under staff, we had last Dutch Crunch rolls [maybe more baking?], didn't see any cookies, 2 of them running around like crazy, line was out the door.

Both sandwiches were really good. French Dip is not what I used to. Usually is Roll + meat and maybe cheese with salty au jus. French Dip came with a bunch of veggie and dressing on it. Au jus had no taste, like hot water [healthy choice?].

I will be back for more sandwiches but not French Dip.

I do not write a lot of reviews, but this place deserves a 5 star rating. Every time I come to the sandwich spot, I feel welcomed and the sandwiches are always delicious. Big shout out to Adam for always providing top notch service.
