I wanted a hearty sandwich for dinner after shopping at Target in Reno and in the same strip mall there was “The Sandwich Spot” so I had to try out my favorite sandwich and see how they add up to my favorite sandwich shop.
I ordered their roast beef sandwich unfortunately the only thing I liked was the crazy sauce they put in it however it was such a tiny swipe of it that it didn’t go from end to end on the bread so it was dry and flavorless and not hearty by any means. The sandwich is well under one foot long it definitely needed way more beef WAY MORE and other ingredients as well to even call it a sandwich or a meal and make it feel like you got something for your hard earned money.
I don’t recommend this place for people looking for a hearty sandwich or meal at a fair price. They need to make some big adjustments to the amount of beef and ingredients used for the prices they charge including getting healthier meats vegetables and breads. The sourdough was too soggy and under cooked (they take from frozen and bake it when you order it) for a French Dip. The beef broth didn’t taste like beef broth at all and the beef wasn’t fresh sliced roast beef it was your typical frozen beef heated up….looked and tasted like rubber AKA lab grown meat.

10/10, excellent food and service! Adam was fantastic, very attentive and offered informed suggestions when asked, and even provided my husband small containers of sauces just out of hospitality.

The sandwiches were DELICIOUS. The bread is soft and fluffy, they brine the chicken so it retains its juiciness, and bacon is on point. The only downside is because of the fluffiness of the bread, the pesto sauce quickly soaks into it. My husband loved the salsa and the bbq sauce, and we both walked away mourning the fact we don’t have a Sandwich Spot in our hometown. But we certainly know where to go when we’re in Reno!!

The coffee is brewed just right, strong but never bitter.

First time trying this place, I absolutely loved it. The sandwich I got was amazing, the staff was friendly and best part they were playing Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets on TV in the dining area 💚🪄. I will definitely be back for more sandwiches, they have a large list of signature ones I can't wait to try.

Second time eating here… first time we came across this sandwich shop we absolutely loved it! This time we came here the tall guy gave my daughter a cookie and juice box on the house! Great friendly service and great food! Will definitely always be back!

They were not busy with 6 of them behind the counter and they are so ridiculously slow making a sandwich. Went next door to tealeaf to get a drink than went to gamestop to check it out and went back for our sandwich and they were still making it. This was for one sandwich. Ridiculous!

French dip was awesome was kinda hesitant but got and was mind blown by the flavor in it
Restaurant quality dip will definitely be coming back for another.
Also got my regular go to turkey sandwich and it’s pretty mouth watering as usual
