Was very excited to try this place! Food and service were okay. Great empanadas! Atmosphere was the best part of this place. Unfortunately, we had a VERY BAD experience. My husband and I were enjoying our food and ordering more drinks when the server told us we had to leave because there was a waitlist of an hour to hour and a half????? Excuse me what???
I work one of the busiest restaurants in town and have been in the food industry for years. It is very UNPROFESSIONAL to tell guests that they have to leave. Even with a waitlist of nearly 4 hours, we NEVER tell guest they must leave to accommodate others. I wish my experience was better but unfortunately I cannot say that.

Definitely a great environment but it was dirty. We got sat at a spot that was dirty too It wasn't that busy when we were in there, so not really too many excuses in that realm. Food was decent but most of it was fried. Bartender was super nice though.

Good environment. They just have a lot to work on of getting things dialed in.

The food was ok, but you need to be very careful. I never saw my check and my check was split in half . We noticed that I was charged 26.99 for tip and the other party was charged the same. Usually I am not cheap on my tip but when the waitress hardly checks on you and the party was of 4 people it seems a bit excessive. Plus I should’ve had the option of knowing my charge and have the option of choosing a tip. I know when parties of 6 or more the service charge already is included but I have never seen it be added on a party of 4 nor never seen a restaurant not provide your with your tab so you can see the charges and determine top since tip is a calculation. $53.99 for a party of 4 seems excessive, especially if the table was barely being waited and it took a long time to receive food and drinks.

Great Sinaloa-style sushi — a far more exciting and delectable experience than Tex-Mex. Plenty of screens for every sport.

Golden Boy is a great new spot mixing Mexican seafood, sushi, and a fun sports bar vibe. The food is fresh, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is upbeat with plenty of TVs and good energy. They just opened, so service and kitchen timing are still being worked out, but the staff is friendly and trying hard. Overall, a solid 4-star experience and a great addition to Reno!

The Venecia roll was really good ! However they told us that the rice was Mexican rice and it had zero flavor even the hot sausage couldn’t make the rice better. The empanadas….have potential…but tasted strange . Way over priced as well. For 1 roll , 2 empanadas, 2 sides of rice, a bottle of water and a soda we paid $60. Also no silverware. Definitely won’t be going back.

Erica was a great waitress. Food was great! Vibe feels great but we went on a Sunday, there’s live music Fridays and Saturdays. Will definitely be back!

Ordered something on doordash that they wouldn't refund for some reason. This store made sure I was compensated without issue (gave me free meal for another time). Always yummy😋
