This place has so much potential if they got rid of Kel as a bartender. Like does he ever smile? Who wants to get a drink upstairs a from him? Stank face on point?

VERY long wait. And afterwards orders were wrong. Never even received my corrected order. Had to wait over another 1/2 hr so we just left?♀️
Yikes! We would always look forward to visiting The Stick 1-2 times with each Reno visit. Cozy place to watch sports with the locals and a friendly environment. Unfortunately, our latest visit was a bust. Service took such a long time and our server rarely came around to check on us. We were served food with tableware or napkins. We were brought katsup but were kindly told that we would need to remove the seal.???? Burgers were decent but the chicken strips were lacking. We've always enjoyed The Stick because it is one of Reno's few non-smoking establishments. However, there are too many other choices in the downtown area.

Karaoke nights on Wednesday are always a blast. With that being said....this place should be called The STICKy floor. It's downright unbearable and cringy sometimes how your feet stick to the floor with every step you take. Maybe it's a neurospicy thing or something but I just can't take it.

I think it was......meh. the drinks were very good. The servers were really cool. We had called earlier to ask a question, and the guy seemed annoyed that we were even calling. The asparagus fries were on point. 5 stars right there. The rest of it......meh. upstairs doesn't open until later on in the evening. I don't think I'll head back there.

We had noticed "The Stick" the night before. So, on a Saturday afternoon; after lunch; after walking along the River Walk, we decided to visit for beers--and to watch some games. It wasn't too crowded during our visit. The seats along the bar were enough to accommodate all of the guests. The bartender(s) were good: they took our initial order, and checked-in with us when it looked like we were nearing empty. The leasehold of this bar is a shoebox configuration. Interestingly, it has a second floor. I was told on some nights, the bar functions more like a nightclub. I wouldn't say that this is a dive bar--it's too neat and clean. But it is unpretentious.
I haven't had any food yet but it is a great place to have a beer (or two) and watch a game.

The vibe in this place is awesome. Easily the most diverse bar I have been to in Reno. Seriously, the most black people I have seen in this town lol. The venue is huge, was plenty of room. The only thing that was disappointing is that they stopped serving food at 4/5? So we weren't able to try any of the food when we got there at 6. There was a bartender downstairs that made our drinks. He was friendly and made some good drinks, and they were also affordable. We went upstairs where there was ample seating and a DJ, and another bartender. The upstairs bartender was super friendly even though we already had out drinks she took the time to talk to us the entire time we sat there. Would definitely come here again and hopefully we will get to try the food next time.
Lots of TVs. Great local bar. Locals, really friendly. However the bartender would rather do shots with her boyfriend than wait on customers. Group of 4 next to us left because they couldn't get waited on.
I went in tonight to watch hockey, I called in early to see if they were showing the game and the gal that answered assured me they would be. I arrived and she was having difficulties with the tv controls and went out of her way to have the cook scroll through the channels to get the game on the tv. Very attentive to accommodations, followed up by great service, beverages, and food! We ordered the buirria tacos and long drink fried asparagus and both were phenomenal. The bartender talked us into shots (which were only $5)! My glass was never empty and overall, great atmosphere, great people! 10/10 will be back. Exceeded expectations for a Monday night downtown! Go Knights!
First of all it's the only game in town that shows ppv fights so thats a 5 star by default. But also the place is bitchin and the staff is nice.
Terrible service. We walked in and sat at a table. We weren't even acknowledged for 10 mins so I walked to the bar to get a beer and a menu. 15 mins later still not even a hint that we existed so we closed out and left. They were not busy and didn't even seem to care that we were leaving
