This place has so much potential if they got rid of Kel as a bartender. Like does he ever smile? Who wants to get a drink upstairs a from him? Stank face on point?

VERY long wait. And afterwards orders were wrong. Never even received my corrected order. Had to wait over another 1/2 hr so we just left?‍♀️

Yikes! We would always look forward to visiting The Stick 1-2 times with each Reno visit. Cozy place to watch sports with the locals and a friendly environment. Unfortunately, our latest visit was a bust. Service took such a long time and our server rarely came around to check on us. We were served food with tableware or napkins. We were brought katsup but were kindly told that we would need to remove the seal.???? Burgers were decent but the chicken strips were lacking. We've always enjoyed The Stick because it is one of Reno's few non-smoking establishments. However, there are too many other choices in the downtown area.

Karaoke nights on Wednesday are always a blast. With that being said....this place should be called The STICKy floor. It's downright unbearable and cringy sometimes how your feet stick to the floor with every step you take. Maybe it's a neurospicy thing or something but I just can't take it.

I think it was......meh. the drinks were very good. The servers were really cool. We had called earlier to ask a question, and the guy seemed annoyed that we were even calling. The asparagus fries were on point. 5 stars right there. The rest of it......meh. upstairs doesn't open until later on in the evening. I don't think I'll head back there.

Came from out of town, called a few days in advance and bought tickets for a ppv fight viewing here w my big group. We showed up, my table was reserved w my name on it and perfect view of the tvs. Food, drinks and prices were good! Great service on the phone and from bartenders/servers who kept the drinks comin.

My boyfriend and I are from the Bay Area, but whenever we go to Reno, it's usually because there is a UFC fight card we want to see. So we place some bets at the casino and then we always go to The Stick to watch. There is a cover for fight card nights, and I will gladly pay that to get in because the drinks and food are usually pretty good, and they have a lot of tvs. So even when we end up standing sometimes because the tables and bar are full, we can still find a spot and stand and watch until a seat clears up. I guess the only complaint I have is that the women's bathroom is almost always broken whenever we visit. The lock doesn't lock and people are always barging in when you are mid-pee. Sometimes the men's bathroom breaks too or is "out if service," so everyone is waiting forever for the one bathroom. Just imagine drinking a few beers and then having to wait in a 5+ person line for one stall :( But I'll still risk peeing myself to come here, especially because they have long drink!

Amazing bar great vibe will be coming back when I'm in town. Diverse bar reminds me of a Bay Area bar.

We had noticed "The Stick" the night before. So, on a Saturday afternoon; after lunch; after walking along the River Walk, we decided to visit for beers--and to watch some games. It wasn't too crowded during our visit. The seats along the bar were enough to accommodate all of the guests. The bartender(s) were good: they took our initial order, and checked-in with us when it looked like we were nearing empty. The leasehold of this bar is a shoebox configuration. Interestingly, it has a second floor. I was told on some nights, the bar functions more like a nightclub. I wouldn't say that this is a dive bar--it's too neat and clean. But it is unpretentious.

I haven't had any food yet but it is a great place to have a beer (or two) and watch a game.

Came to watch the playoffs here. The bar was empty, just our table the bar counter had a few people. TVs are good and plentiful to watch your next game. Parking is bust in down town but they do double validate. Ordered the avocado fries, they were just ok, needed more seasoning. The fries are good. We ordered some wings for the table and after awhile, still didn't get them. A friend went to go ask and the guy came back and said, the order was entered but a computer error didn't send it to the kitchen. So by this time, the kitchen already closed down. So no wings. Also a little heads up advising the kitchen will be closed soon would have been nice, has we would have ordered meals. So we left hungry.
