Spent the weekend in Reno and my amazing husband found this delicious spot for brunch. We shared a pumpkin waffle, which btw was presented beautifully and made sharing easy. The waffle was cooked to perfection, topped with a perfectly whipped pumpkin cream cheese frosting and served with hot syrup and a side of pepitos. I ordered the pull pork eggs Benedict and the jalapeño cilantro hollandaise sauce contained the perfect amount of spicy and creamy. My husband ordered the surf and turf eggs benedict and the steak was cooked medium rare, just how he likes it. The egg itself unfortunately was lacking the ooze factor, but it was just the one egg. The highlight for my husband was the vegetable hash. The bloody Mary was a little disappointing because of how peppery it tasted, but we aren’t letting that bring down the vibes. 10/10 highly recommend and will definitely be our to-go spot whenever we are in town. Food was amazing, waitress was great and the overall vibes were awesome.

Hadn’t been there in over a year. We were initially seated in a ‘hallway’ near the kitchen. Dingy and very unattractive! Asked to move to the porch as the outdoor seating was closed. Heaters were blasting so we asked to have them turned down. Food was very average and quite pricey. ‘Homemade’ corn chip appetizer was fried corn tortilla chips and hardly homemade. The pomegranate sauce on my lamb was too thick and overly sweet. Medium well was definitely well done. My daughter’s Thai style sauce on her salmon was ridiculously sweet and had to be scraped off. Fish and chips was good.
Needless to say, we won’t be returning anytime soon. Their attempt at fine dining misses the mark with heavy sauces that do nothing but detract from the main protein. Tasteless side vegetables certainly could be stepped up. A complete waste of money and a disappointing experience. We won’t be back.

Just wanted you to know how much we enjoy having lunch with you for the past 4 years around the 10th of October in your garden. We come from Citrus Heights Ca and Clear Lake Ca every year to celebrate a dear friend from Reno on her birthday. This year you let me take a couple of stems of your beautiful coleus. They made it back to Clear Lake and have roots already. I’ll let you know next October how well they grew. Thank you and see you next year.

Doesn’t even deserve a star. I’m very disappointed with the way Stonehouse Café treated us. When we called, the staff on the phone were extremely rude. We had brought one of some of our residents from our assisted-living home to eat there, and instead of showing kindness or understanding they told us that people in wheelchairs shouldn’t be allowed in there because it’s “to small “

It was shocking and upsetting to be spoken to that way, especially when we were simply trying to give our residents a nice meal out. Their lack of professionalism and compassion says a lot about how they run their business. I would not recommend Stonehouse Café to anyone — especially to those who work in caregiving or assisted-living — because no one deserves to be treated with such disrespect. After that, they told us and I quote “never come back here again” this is sick i can’t even comprehend these actions.

My family has supported this restaurant for five years, but today ended that. When we arrived, the owner refused to seat us since my mother was on her way. Her tone was curt and unaccommodating, and the experience felt hostile rather than hospitable. We won’t be returning. And next store at Joseph’s Vienna is great- great service and food and no hassle parking!

This restaurant is absolutely wonderful. The food is incredible, and the atmosphere is beautiful. It is one of my favorite spots to eat. However, there is one staff member who has made several of my visits unpleasant. My first interaction with her as a greeter was very unwelcoming, she questioned us when we walked in to join our party, even though our group was already seated, and followed us inside as if she didn’t believe us. It completely ruined my mood for the morning. Another time, I called the restaurant and she told me in a very condescending tone that I was not allowed to call during busy hours because she “can’t multitask.” I have never been spoken to that way by someone representing such a great establishment. I truly love this restaurant and hope management is aware of how this kind of attitude can affect the experience, because everything else about this place is five stars.

This place is a must try! I don't say this often, but I am doing it now. Trifecta! 1- Amazing service, fun staff and very knowledgeable. 2- Absolutely beautiful outdoor patio. We did not go inside so can't say about that. 3- Delicious food at a great price and large portions. That is what I call a perfect trifecta!! We met some.friends for brunch so we had breakfast items. I am not sure what they ordered so I can't say but there dishes looked amazing and they we very happy. I ordered the Biscuit Diablo and was so happy with it. Not real spicy, just the right amount. Delicious house made biscuits! This place has such a wide variety of food that there truly is something here for everybody. Come check it out you won't be disappointed!

Back in 2015 I got kicked out of a brunch service for being unruly. I had stayed up the entire night before drinking energy drinks and I had some brunch mimosas and I started being very loud and course and using foul language in the dining room. Rightfully the manager at the time asked me to leave, and I made an even bigger scene on my way out. Obviously I was being a problem and I have felt pretty bad about it ever sense. I do remember everything being really good and I think this place was really cute and the staff was friendly. Sorry for my bad behavior. Glad to see this place has survived with a great reputation.
